Presented by David North RDTA technician for 32 years with experience in all aspects of dental technology, David specialises in aesthetic ceramic restoration.

Starting in a small family business and expanding into a large dental laboratory group, David gained experience as laboratory Manager and Business Development Manager covering all areas of laboratory work, including implants and eventually progressing to CAD/CAM.

Previous support and advice on porcelain, zirconia and ceramic restorations at Skillbond’s Education Centre, led to David becoming a training instructor, which continues to fuel his passion and personal development as a technician. David says; “CAD/CAM and zirconia will be the future of dental restorations, and I hope to pass on valuable information that may help evolve your laboratory”.

Introduction to Ceramill FX, discussing the development of the material, the benefits and the handling characteristics

Hands-On product session, including:

• preparing the restorations, including how to grind and clean the restorations

• colouring of the restorations, by staining or staining and dipping
