A sociologist, pacifist and educator that arrived in Sicily in
the 50’ where he developed a nonviolent fight against
mafia and methods for community development

The training course proposed to analyze and reflect upon the
actual situation about the participation of the immigrant population in the democratic
process. It aimed at understanding the situation across Europe and facing the
different immigration and political contexts
The training course aimed at developing gender sensitive
strategies and tools to deal with conflict. The training course
focused on identifying factors able to prevent the active involvement of women on conflict transformation and
developing new gender sensitive approaches

Youth for Peace: Towards a New World
Organisation of a multicultural
youth exchange in Palermo.
The participants were 40
young people from Spain,
Colombia, Ecuador and Italy. The project aims at
promoting the validity of the
non-formal education
method at an International
level through a transnational
exchange of good practices in
the field of youth education.

Grundtvig Learning Partnership Leonardo Program , TOI Youth in Action, Action 1.1
The project aims at improving the quality of human rights
education programs through investigation and analysis of different experiences of the partners involved. The main
objective of the learning partnership is to analyze and share experiences in human
rights education
The idea of the project is to exploit modern methods used
by social media for the improvement of vocational knowledge. Equipping VET
professionals with skills of use of social media will provide
attractive VET opportunities and encourage youth participation in
the learning process.
This project was realized in
