As 2016 draws to a close we can see it was a very significant year for the Sutherland Entertainment Centre, with a record number of events, record ticket sales and a host of enjoyable 40th anniversary celebrations. One of the new initiatives was the launch of an annual entertainment program booklet which included expanded subscription offerings.

I’m pleased to announce that due to the great response to the booklet we will be making it an annual publication, and the 2017 edition will be coming out in November. Please make sure your mailing details are up to date with the box office to receive your copy.

This edition of Centrestage previews just a portion of the excellent programming we have in place for you in 2017. Summer will see a focus on singer-songwriters with Britain’s Lloyd Cole kicking off our program year in January, followed by a showcase of the Shire’s best local talent in the new unplugged event at Eat’n Street on Friday nights in February and March. HIT Productions will bring us more outstanding theatrical performances this year and the unique film festivals will return.

With many more events to be announced in the 2017 Program, and more to be unveiled during 2017, this really will be an even bigger and better 41st year at SEC.
