    I received a call late the other night from myyoungest ister,Beverly,who is 59 yearsold' Shetold me to call Candy to the phone because hehad somegoodnews o share.When Candyarrived,sheannouncedhat shewasgettingmarriedand by thesoundof hervoice,wecould tell shewas hrilled. We hadhad he oppor-tunity of meetingand gettingto know her fianc6aboutsix monthsago.Shehas beensingleall he r life which made hismomentall the morespecial.Bev and areonly ayear apartinage,sowe have alwaysbeenclose.was honoredwhen sheaskedme to be the one operform the WeddingCeremonY.Yesterday, heand my oldersisterstoppedby myoffice to surpriseme once againand to say thatthey were on the way to look at Bridal dresseswith Candy.Sheasked f I could come along, hatit would meana lot to her.So, rearrangedmy schedule nd met her and hehappycrew thereat the shop.Shewas already nher first dress.When she came out to show us,shewas beaming. haveneverseenmy sistersohappyand so beautiful. t touchedme deeply.

    I thoughtof my mother and fatherwho lovedherso and had prayed all their lives that Bev wouldoneday meet he right man and ind the compan-ionshipand oy of marriage.The truth is that allher life, Bev has been praying that sameprayerandhadprobably hought hatwas oneprayer hatGod had decidednot to answer n the way shehoped.Well Mom and Dad nevergot to see hatprayer answeredwith their own eyes,but theirprayer s beinganswered till!Theremay be prayersyou havebeenpraying foryearsand years.Don't give up! Thereare someprayers hat we may never seeanswered n ourlife time,don't give up !:. ,Because'Ibelieve n the Fellowshipof the Saints,somehow believe that on that August 13th daywhenwe gather n theFirstUnitedMethodistChurchof Millville to celebratemy sister'swedding,MomandDad,will be ookingon, andsmiling.In this month of May when we will be celebrat-ing so many wonderful "Good News" momentsin our worship and in our church ministry andlife, expect God's surprisesand believewithme,"God AnswersPraYer!"
