Remember all vehicles stopping in a Victorian Alpine Resort must have a valid authorised Resort Entry Permit.Day, Multi-day and Season Resort Entry Permits are available through the online system of alpineeasyaccess.com.au, allowing guests to purchase prior to or immediately upon arrival, alleviating the need to queue at an entry booth to purchase an Entry Permit, giving you more time on the snow and less time in your car.

alpineeasyaccess.com.auAlpine Easy Access is smart phone compatible allowing you to purchase your Resort Entry as you travel to Mount Hotham giving you more time on the snow with no Resort Entry queues.

A Free Shuttle Bus Service operates throughout the season with a number of bus stops connecting the Village and car parking areas. This service runs daily from 6:45am until late enabling guests to travel easily about the resort, from car parks to restaurants to accommodation. Running like a city bus system, buses will stop at all village stops approximately every 15 minutes between Car Park 12 (Whiskey Flat) and Car Park 2 (Corral Car Park) opposite Hotham Central. Just wait at any bus stop and enjoy the ride.Your valid Resort Entry Permit fees include Village Shuttle Bus transportation so no tickets are required, and bus stops are clearly marked throughout the Resort by signage. Transport users are reminded that the village shuttle will only stop at designated bus stops.Village Shuttle Buses offer hassle free transportation and are equipped with exterior ski racks and can carry passengers with skis or snowboards making it easier to get to and from the ski slopes.

The provision of parking is only a small portion of the permit fee. The permit you purchase for your time in the resort helps to fund a wide range of visitor services provided to you by the Mount Hotham Resort Management Board.

These services include:

• Village Bus Service 40%• Ski Patrol 25%• Traffic and Parking Services 10%• Village Snow Clearing 8%• Community Facilities & Shelters 7%• Cross Country Ski Trails 5%• Environmental Management 5%

Parking within the Mount Hotham village area is for day visitors only with 24 hour long term parking located just outside the village area towards Omeo. If you are staying overnight you will need to move your vehicle from the village to a long term car park by 11:00pm. When you arrive at the resort you can unload your luggage in one of the many 15/30 minute parking areas near your accommodation. Then move your car into one of the long term car parks where the Free Village Shuttle Bus will pick you up and take you to a bus stop near your destination. You won’t need your car all week as this bus runs throughout the village.

DAY PARKING Village day car parks are available for day parking only between 7am and 11pm, this is to allow for overnight snow clearing. There is no overnight parking in the Village area.

LONG-TERM/OVERNIGHT PARKING Overnight / Long Term Parking is for guests staying on the mountain. Parking commences 3km below Hotham Central, towards Omeo.

Visitors to Mount Hotham are asked to observe parking directives and signs. Resort Operations, No Standing Anytime and Bus Zones are clearly marked for safety and operational reasons.

You are welcome to come into the Resort Management Office located adjacent to Car Park 2 if you have questions or need more information.

Staying longer? If you decide to extend your stay, you will need to purchase the extra day/s permit before your initial permit expires at midnight.

Q. I am not Skiing but my family wants to come in to the resort for the day. I’m dropping them off then driving out of the resort straight away. Do we still have to purchase resort entry?A. Yes, you must purchase Resort Entry as the people you are dropping in the resort will be using the resort facilities that the Resort Entry goes towards.All vehicles stopping in the Resort must purchase a Resort Entry Permit.

Q. I have a car park provided with my accommodation, is Resort Entry Included and do I have to Purchase a Permit?A. In most cases when an accommodation provider grants you a car park this will not include Resort Entry. When you are purchasing Resort Entry you are not paying for a car park, it allows you to park within the resort and funds a multitude of different services.Yes, you must purchase Resort Entry when your accommodation provides a car park for you.

Q. I would like to pay cash for my Resort Entry Permit as I don’t have a credit card, where can I do so?A. You can purchase a Resort Entry Permit with cash or card in the Resort Management Office, upstairs in the transit lounge Car Park 2 (Corral Car Park).

Q. What happens if I forget to purchase a valid Resort Entry Permit?A. Like all parking permits you will be issued with a parking infringement for failure to pay.Licence plate recognition technology is used throughout the Mount Hotham Resort to verify payments.
