THE VISION

Center Development Region is characterized as a region with a prosper economy, developed, dynamic and diversified, with well-paid jobs and with an active citizens’ participation to ensure a good life to the community.

The region will be a competitive one, with a dynamic and diversified economy

The region will develop the main access road’ infrastructure and will evaluate advantages of the geographical placement

The region will develop the international cooperation

Entrepreneurship will be encouraged and sustained

Cititizen’s participation in communities management issues will be sustained and promoted

The economical progress wouldn` be a danger for the environeent the region will be, as usual, a healthy place to live in and recreate

The economical progress wouldn`t prejudice region`s cultural and human values promotion

52 embers (Ist. and IInd. level of LPA’s representatives, NGO’s, economic agents from the 13 districts

Approves the strategic and programming documents related to regional development in CDR

CENTER REGIONAL COUNCIL FOR DEVELOPMENT

Non commercial public institution, subordinated to MDRC, created to ensure the implementation of Regional Development Strategy and the Regional Operational Plan in Center Development Region

Has been created in December 2009
