CENTARAVILLAS PHUKET

Set on a gentle incline and surrounded by verdant tropical greenery, the spacious villas are designed in Thai style and offer both garden and ocean views. This is an intimately scaled resort, with an air of privacy and exclusivity, and the villas have a residential quality that will appeal to couples, to families, and to groups on both leisure trips and business related activities such as incentives and team-building.

Located at Karon, on the west side of the island, the resort enjoys sweeping views of Karon Bay, while the beach is reached within a few minutes by taking the coastal pathway that leads from the resort gardens.

Both Karon and the neighbouring beach resort of Patong are renowned for their shopping and their lively nightlife, and the resort provides a complimentary shuttle service to both of these destinations.

LIVINGThere are 72 contemporary Thai style ocean facing villas, each in a garden setting. Interiors are designed to enhance the sensation of space, with clean lines, wooden flooring, and white walls and ceilings counterpointed by splashes of dark red from the natural fabrics. Glass doors provide lots of natural light , and lead out onto a large furnished terrace that provides views to the gardens and the ocean.

There is the option of having a spa villa with its own private Jacuzzi on the terrace, or a pool villa with its own five-metre plunge pool, perfect for a cooling dip any time of the day.

All villas are completely self-contained, have an en suite bathroom, and provide luxurious amenities. All that is needed for an idyllic hideaway in gentle and secluded surroundings.

CHILLINGA two-tiered swimming pool with cascading waterfall provides the perfect spot to relax with a cooling drink. Along with the nearby beach there are leisure activities such as windsurfing, parasailing and fishing, while there is an eighteen-hole golf course within easy reach of the resort. Thai cooking classes allow you to take home new skills for the enjoyment of your family and friends.

Spa Cenvaree is a sanctuary of well-being set within the gardens, and offers signature treatments such as the Salt Pot Experience, ideal for melting away muscular stress, along with programmes for slimming, reducing cellulite, detoxing, and achieving inner balance and harmony. Treatment suites are designed for singles and couples, and include an outdoor Jacuzzi.

Our tour information desk will arrange any excursions required, and all guests can use the facilities of five-star sister resort Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket, which is also in Karon and can be reached by our complimentary shuttle service.

DININGThe Cliff Restaurant is set on two terraces with views across Karon Bay, and features a Mediterranean-Asian menu with an emphasis on fresh seafood and local produce. The Cliff Bar is adjacent, and is a relaxing open-air cocktail bar that serves a fine selection of wines, beers and spirits, and is the ideal spot to watch the spectacular Andaman sunsets. Bayview Restaurant & Bar is located at the heart of the resort, overlooking the main pool and the bay, and serves refreshing snacks as well as local and international favourites. This is also a venue for special events and dinners. For those who cannot bear to leave the water, light snacks and refreshments are served poolside.

SIGHTSEEING

The resort is set at the quiet northern of Karon Beach, one of Phuket’s principal tourist beaches, and the town of Karon can be reached easily on foot. For guests who prefer to take our shuttle service, there are complimentary rides to Karon Town, and to Patong, the island’s main leisure and entertainment resort. All the other west coast resorts and beaches are easily accessible by hotel car or local transport along the coast road.

Phuket Town has a rich architectural and cultural heritage, and is famous for its classic Sino-Portuguese residences and shophouses, many of which have been turned into restaurants, boutiques and galleries.

Sailing and leisure-boat trips are amongst the most popular activities at Phuket, with the Phi Phi Islands being the most famous destination, and the Racha Islands off the southern coast offering a quieter environment.
