Vada Pav
Vada pav is called the snack of the common people, but that doesn’t mean that not so common people can’t love it
as well. 23rd August is celebrated as Vada Pav
Day. On this occasion here are a few
celebrities who truly love their vada pav.
Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapoor
displayed their love for food in their movie Dawat-e-Ishq. At a
promotional event for the same movie they
were seen munching on vada pav and from the looks of it, they were
thoroughly enjoying it.
Ranbir Kapoor is a complete foodie. Afterall he belongs to the Kapoor khandaan and they are
known for being big foodies. He recently made headlines when he went
on the streets of Pune and sold vada pav to
thousands of fans for a charity event.
At a promotional event for Bombay Velvet too he promoted ‘Bombay’s’
favorite snack.
Madhavan’s love for vada pav is well known. Having
tasted success both in bollywood and
tamil cinema, Maddy always finds time for
a vadapav.
Tendulkar’s love of vada pav is quite well
documented. The batting maestro has said on
multiple occasions that he loves the savory
‘Indian burger,’ and that he still eats it every now
and then. Tendulkar’s love for vada pav is so
great, his childhood friend Vinod
Kambli actually gifted him 35 vada pavs when
Tendulkar overtook Sunil Gavaskar’s record of 34
Test tons.
Television star Asha Negi in an interview
said that she had heard a lot about the vada pav when she
was living in Himachal Pradesh and that she
could not wait to taste it when she first
moved to Mumbai. She said she fell in love with the snack from the first bite itself.
