We should celebrate and be thankful to our mothers every day of the year but, unfortunately, we often
forget in our busy and fast-paced lives. This is one day of the year when we must not. This is one day of the year when we must all say to our mothers: “Thank
you for everything”.
Homework
• Mother's Day Speech Template• students can brainstorm what makes their
mothers special OR how mothers are celebrated in their country and speak on those topics as well. Using the brainstormed ideas, have the students fill out their Mother's Day Speech Template In small groups have the students practice their speeches with each other. Have each student present their Mother's Day speech to the class. As a follow-up you can assign students to write their speech in paragraph form.
