She works in a food shop for long hours every day as my dad can not earn any money at the moment. She rings my nan to tell her when the shop is empty so nan can pop and get some things. Keris also does almost all of the cooking, cleaning and shopping and shops for us too. On top of all this she has three little children to look after - my six year old twin brothers and my 4 year old little sister who has additional needs, as well as my big sister Steffie.

So my mum does a lot and I’m so proud that she’s my mum because she’s such a great role model, so one day I hope that I’m as good as her. Oh and its her birthday soon so I will help around the house so she can just rest for once, so thank you mum for everything. I love you.

Despite this, he’s looked after the three children whilst my mum and dad work as keyworkers. Yesterday he got rushed into hospital for emergency surgery on his hernia and had to have his op under local anaesthetic. He is so brave!

She’s also diabetic and Jade has learnt how to monitor her nan’s blood sugars even though she doesn't like needles. She is so loving and caring that I couldn't wish for a better daughter. I don't know what I would have

done without her. I’m so proud to have a daughter like Jade.
