• Hillside knows how to celebratecolor and Alyshaan Fine Rugs hasplenty of color to get inspired. Asa vendor at Hillside, I like to shoparound the center to seeeveryone’s wares. In doing so, Idiscovered a beautiful piece atAlt Gallery, an exquisiteWyland dolphin sculpture.

Alt Gallery specializes in estate art and high end consignment. I knew that our rugs would show off the sculpture really well. Voila, the dolphin pair now have a temporary new home for them to be appreciated and enjoyed in our showroom.

Signed Limited edition Kalonite Wyland Sculpture at Hillside Sedona

Alyshaan has some beautiful potential rug pairings with the dolphins as they deserve to be seen. Anyone who has a love for dolphin art has likely heard of Wyland. This limited edition sculpture is made from Kalonite (acrylic). You can see similar sculptures on his website here.

I have a big affinity for dolphins having swam with them in Costa Rica years ago at an incredible eco lodge called Divine Dolphin. I highly recommend the experience if you have sought out the idea of seeing wild dolphins.

• Alyshaan has some incredible sari silk rugs made from recycled women’s sari’s that will knock your socks off. I thought the pairing of the dolphins with the rug really translate well. Obviously, these colors are for those who like to live with vibrant color in the room – we know who you are!
