Cedar Meadows A typical day at Cedar Meadows begins with a ride up the Alpine Express. At the top, the air is

crisp and cool, and the view is unlike anything you have ever seen. The deep, dark blue of the

sky provides a stark contrast to the line of white at the horizon, where snow divides the lake and

the sky.

You push off and begin your descent, trailing a wake of powder. The snow beneath your skis is

so dry it squeaks. You do not really care where you are going or how you get there. The

important thing is that you are here. Cedar Meadows is a destination where pleasures abound.

Fast Facts 1. Terrain: The Cedar Meadows terrain includes 20 percent beginner slopes, 45 percent

intermediate slopes, and 35 percent advanced slopes.

2. Lifts: Cedar Meadows Resort has one aerial tram, three high-speed quads, eight triple

chairs, seven double chairs, and six surface lifts.

3. Elevations: The base elevation is 6,540 feet; the summit, 10,040 feet; the vertical drop,

3,500 feet; and the longest run is 5.5 miles.

4. Ski School: The Cedar Meadows Ski School employs over 225 certified ski instructors

and offers a variety of programs.

5. Children’s Services: Children ages 4 through 12 can take advantage of the Snow

Explorers program, which offers young skiers an exciting adventure in alpine skiing and

snowboarding.

6. Ski Shuttles: Free ski shuttles travel the Cedar Meadows Resort seven days a week.
