FRIDAY, MAY 12, 2017 What an awesome week! First, thanks to the Cedar PTO for recognizing our awesome teachers. We were spoiled with breakfast on Monday, a dessert bar on Thursday, and finally lunch on Friday. On behalf of all the teachers and staff, thank you for a wonderful week of treats! Thursday is always one of the busiest weeks of the year as we welcome the newest members of the Cedar family to Kindergarten registraon. We had over 90 families learn about our K program and meet the teachers who will be working with their students next year. We also had representaves from transportaon sharing info about buses and giving bus tours! We hope this first Cedar experience was great and look forward to seeing all our new friends in July! Next week will feature the fourth grade celebraon on Thursday and our Cedar field day on Friday. We are excited about our 10 th annual field day for students and hope you are able to aend this fantasc end-of-the-year wrap-up celebraon. Thanks for all you do to make our school a special place. We have enjoyed working with you this year and are already looking forward to sharing the many new pieces that will connue to shape our Cedar family for next year! Have a great weekend. What an awesome week! First, thanks to the Cedar PTO for recognizing our awesome teachers. We were spoiled with breakfast on Monday, a dessert bar on Thursday, and finally lunch on Friday. On behalf of all the teachers and staff, thank you for a wonderful week of treats!

Thursday is always one of the busiest weeks of the year as we welcome the newest members of the Cedar family to Kindergarten registration. Field Day – May 19 (Rain Date: May 22)

If you would like to be a Field Day volunteer and did not turn in the volunteer cou-pon, you can still help. Just come to the Cedar Gym at 9:00 and you’ll be put to work! Volunteers will be needed as station leaders from 9:00-11:30 am only.

1. Car must be made out of cardboard and display a number.

2. Decorate your car with this year’s theme: TV Shows.

3. Car must be AT LEAST 1 FOOT in length and width.

Car must be no larger than 3 feet long or wide.

***NO EXTRA BOX CARS WILL BE PROVIDED.

Camp Invention June 12-16 at AIS-West

Imaginations get their rocket fuel at Camp Invention! This summer’s all-new curriculum allows children in kindergarten through 6th grade to transform a distant exoplanet, blast rockets, wire circuits, and take risks as future entrepreneurs.
