Overview of PMS

Pavement Management ?
PM is a decision making process used to make cost-effective decisions about: Design, Construction, Maintenance, and Rehabilitation of pavements
You could add other activities such as planning, budgeting, …etc.
Basically, any activity related to “pavements” could be included in an overall PM system.
What is a PMS? Decision support TOOL used by
pavement personnel to assist in making cost-effective decisions concerning pavements
