Week 1 – 2019
Week 1/Commitment Weekend: February 9-10, 2019 Today is a call to action.
1) Be sure all in-pew CDA materials are in place and available at all masses. 2) Pastor’s endorsement of CDA is critical: Incorporate the CDA into the homily or deliver a special message. 3) Show the video and strongly encourage parishioners to make a pledge today. The In-Pew process is a
critical piece of a successful appeal. Give parishioners ample time and direction to complete pledge cards.
Intercession
May our parish, through our financial gift and prayer to the CDA, support the works of mercy that take place in our Diocese. We pray to the Lord.

Working Together – Best Practices Block 4
1) Timing: Really emphasize CDA for 4 weeks, rest (but report results), then move to Together
2) Messaging: Key is to explain the differences between CDA & Together campaign
3) In-Pew Process: Great success in having pledge cards completed during Mass for Together campaign
