SONODARESIDENCESonoda Christchurch Campus is located on the University of Canterbury(UC)campus,only3minutes’walkfromCCEL.IthasmodernfacilitiesandbeautifulJapanese-inspiredgardens.Sonoda is smaller than the other UC student residences, accommodating up to 110 students at a time, and is popular because of its friendly atmosphere.
ILAMAPARTMENTSIlam Apartments is also located on the UC campus, approximately10minutes’walkfromCCEL.IlamApartmentshasanextensiveactivityprogrammeandstudentshavemanyopportunities to make friends with other CCEL students and domestic and international UC students.
FACILITIESStudents in both residences have a single room with internet access,andshareanapartmentwithupto5otherpeople.Each apartment has a modern kitchen, lounge and bathroom, and most students cook their own meals.
