Bioremediation

Oxygen Release Compound: Composed of calcium oxyhydroxide, the patented chemistry of ORC allows for

the controlled release of oxygen over a period lasting up to 12 months. This oxygen is utilized by indigenous

microbes in the subsurface for the aerobic bioremediation of various contaminants including, but not limited

to, TPH, BTEX, light cVOCs, and PAHs. It is available in powder, pellet, and sock form.

Hydrogen Release Compound: A glycerol polylactate, HRC promotes the anaerobic biodegradation of

chlorinated solvents such as PCE, TCE, and TCA by slowly releasing hydrogen into the subsurface. This

hydrogen is used in a process known as reductive dechlorination to sequentially strip chlorine from the

contaminant molecules, eventually reducing these compounds into harmless daughter products (ethane and

ethanes).

Chemical Oxidation

RemOx ISCO: Available in either solid (potassium) or liquid (sodium) forms, Remox is remediation-grade

permanganate that can be used in the in-situ chemical oxidation of chlorinated solvents such as PCE and

TCE. Permanganate oxidation chemistry is well-known and has been utilized on a large number of sites in

Canada and around the world.

Fenton’s Reagent: A solution of hydrogen peroxide and an iron catalyst, Fenton’s Reagent can be used to treat

a wide range of organic contaminants in soil and groundwater, including chlorinated solvents, petroleum

hydrocarbons, semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs), and pesticides.

RegenOx: Designed specifically for the in-situ or ex-situ chemical oxidation of a broad range of contaminants,

including chlorinated solvents and petroleum hydrocarbons. RegenOx can be used for effective contaminant

mass reduction using a solid alkaline oxidant that is activated to a high performance level through the action

of a unique catalytic complex without generating excessive heat or gas.

PersulfOx: An all-in-one oxidant system based on sodium persulfate and a proprietary catalyst. PersulfOx is

effective on a wide range of contaminants including petroleum hydrocarbons and chlorinated solvents and

can be used for both in-situ and ex-situ remediation.
