Gravity Fed Irrigation Drip
(CCAT)
Project Purpose
• Provide irrigation to four terraced garden beds
using simple, intuitive technology.
• Use water captured during rain storms to supply
the system with adequate water.
• Utilize the portable water lines and numerous
emitters to sufficiently cover the garden.
Usage
• Intended to be used during the
summer months.
• Water is pumped through the
system for 20 minutes, 2-3 times
a week.
Project Update
• System was recently retrofitted
with new connectors, lines and
emitters.
• Water is fed through the lines
with a garden hose now.
Possible Improvements
• Use water from the existing
rainwater catchment system.
(Located literally 10ft from
irrigation connector)
• Create a new rainwater
catchment system and tie that
into the irrigation system.
