Please see below a list of protocols for visitors to the CBC Sport Venue this weekend

Each venue has a copy of their COVID Safe Plan step 3 available to be viewed.

Contact Tracing

All visitors to the CBC Gym will be required to sign in at the main entry, please follow the instructions on the signage at the entry point. You will only be required to register once for the day.

Physical Distancing

Social distancing requirements of 1.5m is still to be observed for spectators. Avoid co‑mingling of participants from different games and timeslots.

General Health

If a playing member, family member or spectator is unwell, they are expected to stay at home and seek medical treatment. Particularly those most vulnerable.

Pre-Game / During Game / Post Game

Hands WASHED often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds ‑ If soap and water or alcohol‑based hand sanitiser.

Players to avoid high fives, handshakes or other physical contact.

Change rooms are available, but players are asked to ‘get in get out’. Toilets can be accessed following hygiene and social distancing protocols.

Equipment to be wiped with antibacterial wipes or alcohol‑based sanitiser prior to and after training sessions or games. Players are responsible for their own strapping if required.

Sanitizer stations are available at relevant entry points.

Any post‑match function will be players and parents only, with a contact tracing register taken.

Spectators

A parent or guardian is permitted at games, but physical distancing needs to be maintained by all spectators.

No spectator is to enter the field of play.

Game Day Process

Each team should have sanitizer in their team bags for all players to use.

Players to provide their own labelled drink bottles.

No sharing of food. This applies to players half time fruit and spectators shared afternoon tea.

Teams to leave quickly after each game.

Indoor Sports

Indoor Sports ‑ A time gap in between games – Finishing team must pack up and leave at the conclusion of the game.

We understand that they must follow the direction and advice of Police, Local Government and AIS Guidelines at all times.
