Cayan Tower

Cayan Tower is a 73-stor y residential tower of

approximately 110,000 m2 in gross area sited at the

Dubai Marina, EMAAR’s three-kilometer-long canal-

city neighborhood. SWA provided landscape design

services for the roof garden and the main lobby entrance.

The design applies a singular approach to solve multiple

program requirements in a limited site area. Landscape

design elements such as paving and fence patterns

are derived from the building architectural language

with a simple, continuous wood deck connecting

all program areas. The sun deck transforms from a

flat surface to undulating sloped planes with raised

deck areas strategically sloped to maximize views and

providing soil depth for tree planting.
