Crookshanks is Hermione’s pet. It’s half cat, half Kneazle, a type of magical cat very clever. He recognizes Peter Petegrew in his rat form. Crookshansks has orange fur, crooked legs, and the face strangely crushed. Ron thinks that it likes a “Hairy Pig”. It appeared at first time in the third movie, Harry Potter and the prisioner of Azkaban. It tried to catch Peter Petegrew and bring him to Sirius Black.
