IT’S TIME TO CELEBRATE!
After months of construction, the replacement of the
Church steeple and reconstruction of the front stairs are
now complete! With Thanksgiving just around the corner,
it is time to give thanks and to celebrate!
This weekend, on the Feast of Christ the King, November
24th, which is the Sunday before Thanksgiving, there will
be a special coffee hour/pot luck brunch after the 10:00 AM
Mass in the Parish Hall. Ham will be provided, and we are
requesting that others bring a side dish or dessert to share.
We would like you to bring food that your family particu-
larly enjoys at your holiday celebrations to share with oth-
ers!
We hope to see as many parishioners as possible as we cel-
ebrate a year to remember! God Bless!

Envelopes for your Christmas flower donation and flower
remembrance envelopes will be available the weekend of
December 3rd at the entrance to the Church. Envelopes can
be dropped in the collection basket at any Mass. Thank

The Knights of Columbus Council 279 will be selling reli-
gious Christmas cards after the Masses the weekends of
November 23-24 and November 30—December 1. Your

THANKSGIVING DAY MASS
Our Parish Thanksgiving Mass will be celebrated on
Thursday, November 28th at 9:00 AM at the Cathedral of
St. Joseph. Bishop Christopher Coyne will be our Cele-
brant. Please invite your family and friends to begin this
great day of Thanksgiving by giving praise to God from
whom all good things come! A collection of non-perishable
food will be taken for the North Avenue Food Pantry.

JOIN THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
The Knights of Columbus are an international fraternal
benefit society. It is the largest lay organization in the Ro-
man Catholic Church. The core principles of the Knights
of Columbus are: Charity, Unity, Fraternity & Patriotism.
There are three prerequisites to join the Knights: (1) male,
(2) at least 18 years old; (3) a practical Catholic (practical
means practicing/living out the Catholic faith).
After satisfying these three requirements, you should con-
tact any of the Knights and express your interest. Locally,
contact David Ely (Email: [email protected] or call
(802) 862-5109). The Knights operate on a degree stand-
ard—first through fourth. Knights may progress through
the degrees as they are able and willing. There is no spe-
cific time of the year to join. If you don’t meet the require-
ments but would still like to volunteer, we welcome you to
join us in lending a hand.
The activities of the Knights of Columbus are centered
around support for Church, Community, Family, Youth,
and Culture of Life. We look forward to hearing from you!
FREE UPRIGHT PIANO
In the corner of the lower chapel sits an upright maple-
colored piano which is no longer needed by the parish. We
would like to give it to someone who would enjoy having a
piano in his/her home. It is free of charge! All you need to
do to make it your own, is move it out of the Chapel. It
will be given on a first-come/first-served basis. If you are
interested, contact the Parish Office at 658-4333.
