Cathacoat 302 series Reinforced inorganic zinc primers The two component Cathacoat® 302 series are reinforced inorganic zinc primers that provide cathodic protection to steel. The primers feature predispersed zinc which allows easy mixing and application to commercial abrasive blasted steel. With the benefit on fast dry and quick recoat times (once solvent evaporates), structures can be painted and placed back into service sooner. Exceptional corrosion resistance Resists topcoat bubbling Does not require humidity to cure Resists mudcracking Accepts a wide variety of topcoats: acrylic, epoxy, urethane Can be applied to commercial abrasive blasted steel (SSPC-SP6, NACE 3, ISO Sa2) Ideal for touch-up and maintenance work due to ease of application

Cathacoat® 302 series of reinforced inorganic zinc primers help speed up production, allowing for quicker turnaround, increased productivity and enhanced profitability.

Cathacoat® 302H: Ideal for cathodic protection of steel structures, tanks, equipment, piping and other steel surfaces exposed in mild-to-severe industrial environments. Also great for touch-up and maintenance work because of its easy application, wide compatibility and fast dry-to-recoat capability. Formulated to minimize topcoat bubbling typically experienced with inorganic zinc-rich primers. Volatile organic compound (VOC) level of 282 g/L Cathacoat® 302HB: Ideal for cathodic protection of steel structures, tanks, equipment, piping and other steel surfaces exposed in mild to severe industrial environments. Also ideal for touch-up and maintenance work because of its easy application, wide compatibility and fast dry-to-recoat. Meets Class B slip and creep for faying surfaces. Formulated to minimize topcoat bubbling typically experienced with inorganic zinc-rich primers. Volatile organic compound (VOC) level of 305 g/L. Cathacoat® 302V: A low VOC option that works equally well in the cathodic protection of steel structures, tanks, equipment, piping and other steel surfaces exposed to mild-to-severe industrial environments. Also ideal for touch-up and maintenance work because of its easy application, wide compatibility and fast dry-to-recoat. Formulated to minimize topcoat bubbling typically experienced with inorganic zinc-rich primers. Volatile organic compound (VOC) level of 100 g/L.
