CatCh me if you Can!Yes it was a great movie, but it’s

also the line we’ve been saying more andmore often to people as we designed ourFall 2011 line. As Burkman Bros gathers pacein new markets around the world, our frequentflyer miles have been clicking up as quickly as oursignature patterns are flying off the shelves – both ofwhich are good results so we aren’t complaining. Frommeetings in Tokyo, a wonderfully odd weekend in Copenhagen,more meetings in London and LA (oh, and a little inspirationtrip to Nova Scotia for good measure) we couldn’t help buttake in eclectic inspiration even if we find it difficult to takein enough breath.Fall 2011 is our largest collection so far and it reflects

perfectly the dynamism of our travels. We’ve just had so many flashes of brilliance in the oddest of places (like the most amazing noodle bar ever in Copenhagen, of all places) we couldn’t resist including them in our fall collection. There’s some great Nordic God-meets-Gurkhan warrior knitwear that will take anything the season’s weather throws at it, utilitarian coats lined with decadent Ikat cottons, shirts in relaxed fabrics with the bespoke patterns we’re passionate about and even some subtle leather trims around pockets that make for a great outdoorsy look. We’ve also put together a great selection of pants, from huntsman motif to drawstring casual, all cut with comfort and sex appeal in mind. And what would Fall be without rugby shirts, which we’ve created using the softest cottons we could find.The whole journey all adds up to one of our most interesting

collections to date (and a few much-needed cabin upgrades along the way). We’re treading new ground, pushing our boundaries and constantly revitalizing our brand. Best of all, it all comes naturally from what we do, which is what we love. We just hope we get to see our loved ones in person again too!
