AIMMP organizes yet another important Portuguese presence in a large

international fair: the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair®.

This fair is considered one of the most important international showcases of

design. Portugal is present with the best of what is produced in our country, a

clear demonstration of quality and modernity of our design. The fair, a meeting

of Scandinavian design, is considered one of the most interesting design fairs

in the world for circuits operating in this segment.

At this time, Stockholm is in 1st place in the ranking of cities of the future.

Stockholm is the European city with the highest expected growth in the future.

The Portuguese products are able to submit proposals essentially based on

value quality/ competitive price. Sweden is a country with high purchasing

power, marked by informed consumers, guiding them to choose solutions that

fit their perception of the paradigm: value for money.

Piurra is a toy, a sort of spinning top, that the designer’s grandfather (who was

a master woodcarver and Gold Leaf applyer) did for his grandchildren to play.

Rui Viana heard stories, told by his family, about the way his grandfather, with

his bear hands, would transform wood into beautiful pieces. Giving the name

of the toy to a brand, he pays a tribute to his grandfather who had no time to

see him grow.
