Our ROBorb sensor unit has been designed to record and transmit the following data: audiofeature vector for sound recognition, direction of the incoming sound for object localization, video feature vector forobject recognition, object position in the field of view for object localization. These data enable the detection, recognitionand tracking of pedestrians and vehicles with the proper algorithms running on the cloud server with significantly lessdata transmission and higher reliability (thanks to the sound recognition) than it would be possible by using an IPcamera. The modular sensor unit can have 1 to 4 channels (of microphone and camera), enabling a field of view of120°, 240°, 360° or the complete sphere. Each unit is designed with data-processor, internal battery and communicationand their size is still below 10cm. Our Qualification:Building‘s energy audit by measuring the actual energy parameters. While performing the energy audit the informationon the technical condition of building’s envelopes and engineering systems is revealed. The specialists do thecalculations of energy normalisation, measure the actual building’s energy parameters (thermovision, the measurementof thermal resistance of walls, windows, and roof, leak detection), create a theoretic building‘s energy model whichevaluates the results of actual measurements and is calibrated with actual recorded (historical) energy consumptions inthe past, identify energy efficiency measures and evaluate their economic attractiveness by determining the possibleenergy savings and the need for investments. The specialists can provide information or as researchers take part inprojects of the increase of energy performance in buildings (ESCO). Conceptualisation (FP7, IEE), technical andeconomic evaluation of heat sources and integrated solutions.Modelling of energy transformers and systems: TRNSYS 17.0 (buildings’ microclimate and energy demand), DESIGNBuilder (interaction of construction envelopes, systems, microclimate and energy demand), PHPP (auxiliary software fordesign following Passive house standard), HEAT2 / HEAT3, THERM (two and three-dimensional non-stationary heatexchange).Thermovision inspection of the building and analysis of envelopes‘ actual thermal resistance.Thermovision inspection ofthe building‘s thermal (by photographs) and dynamic (in video format) processes. The condition of building envelopes’thermal conductivity is identified, the possible construction defects and specific problematic locations are indicated,where the measurements of the actual thermal resistance of the envelopes are performed. The requirements of therepair of defects are formed based on the received data.Microclimate research of buildings or premises. Measurements of temperature (air, wall surfaces), relative humidity,CO2, air-tightness, illuminance, and noise level are taken. The received results are analysed and the conclusions on thepossible problem solving are presented.

At present days are we in the process of solving project with our industrial partners from region in the field of con-castingand casting in to the ingots.

Research Institute for Building Materials was established in 1946 and it is a private company since 1993. As a researchorganization it is partly supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic as the expert for thebranch of building industry.

Specialized laboratories are able to assess physical-chemical and physical-mechanical characteristics of all kinds ofbuilding materials. Special aim is focused on evaluation of durability of building materials in outdoor conditions andnegative impact to the environment in aquatic or solid state.

Experimental production department produces mainly high quality lime for special purposes and various products madeof thin-walled glass-fibre-reinforced concrete. This department is able to make devices and formwork with necessaryaccessories for internal as well as external purposes.
