Terms & Conditions Terms The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable in Canadian Funds at par in Pincher Creek, AB. unless satisfactory arrange-ments have been made previous to the sale. The right of property shall not pass until full settlement is made. All settlement must be made with Southern Alberta Livestock Exchange before any cattle will be released from the Pavilion.

Disputes In case of disputes, bidding will be re-opened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer decision will be final.

Purchaser’s risk Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as the auc-tioneer has said sold.

Announcements Errors discovered in the catalogue will be corrected by announce-ments from the auction stand at sale time and such corrections will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are cautioned to pay close attention to announcements.

Accidents Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of the buyers and guests, neither the High Country bull sale consignors, Southern Alberta Livestock Exchange, or the Pincher Creek Ag. Society assumes any responsibility in this matter and disclaims any liability, legal or otherwise in the event of acci-dent or loss of property.

Semen Test & Scrotal Measurements All two year olds have a current satisfactory semen test, and all yearlings have current scrotal measurement. Both have been per-formed by a licensed Veterinarian.

Breeder’s Guarantee All animals sold are guaranteed by the owner. Any animal that has not proven itself to be a breeder within six (6) months after the sale date, if in healthy condition may be returned to the seller at the buyers expense. The seller reserves the privilege of trying for six (6) months to prove the animal a breeder. The seller at their opinion, may either return the purchase price to the buyer or re-place the animal with another of equal quality in full settlement of the claims. All yearlings bulls are guaranteed breeders if not used on more than fifteen (15) head of females and are at the full age of fourteen (14) months. The seller is not responsible for damaged caused by foreign bodies after the animal has been sold nor for sickness not apparent at sale time.

Insurance Pincher Creek Agencies will be available to handle all your insur-ance requirements. Insurance is a good way to manage your risk and protect your investment. If any bulls are going back to the sellers, insurance is mandatory.

Welcome friends, neighbors and customers to the 42nd annual High Country Bull Sale. This year we are offering more bulls than ever before. Our cow herd seems to keep growing and so does our bull pen; but quality is still first and foremost! Our pen of bulls this year are a quiet, soggy-made, ath-letic group with lot’s of depth and excellent hair! The cows that produce our bulls go through a meticulous culling process. We do not tolerate ill-tempered, bad footed, or poor uddered cows. We are very proud of our cow herd, but they must work or they are off to town! When buying our herd bulls I always have the commercial pro-ducer in mind. I definitely understand that there is a balance between calv-ing ease and performance. I am certain we have a bull to fit your program. I understand that your cows need to be bred at “breeding time.” If there is a problem we always have a group of bulls at home to solve it. We stand behind our bulls 100%. I encourage you to come to the yard to see the bulls before the sale and view them in their home environment. Dustin Sippola and his children Grace and Hunter have been riding these horses. Dustin rides these horses outside and does a great job developing a young horse. "Tuffy" was started in a cutting horse training program at Rafter H Ranche. She raised a few foals for us and has been barren the last couple of years.
