Metzerplas

SP A revolution in home plumbing. SP pipes are constructed of 5 layers:2 layers of cross-linked polyethylene, surrounding a central layer ofaluminum, bonded together by 2 adhesive layers. The result is a strong,lightweight pipe, which is flexible, sturdy, economical and easy to install.

Metzerplas was established in 1970, and since has accumulated profound expertise

and know-how in development, design, production, marketing and installation of

agricultural and landscaping products and turn-key irrigation projects.

Metzerplas products and systems are real-life tested and proven in the Kibbutz fields,

enabling complete examination of its innovative, leading state of the art products,

based on its experience and attending to regions with scarce and low quality water

The Ideal CombinationThe advantage of SP is a successful combination of metal

and plastic , together in one pipe. It is completely corrosion

and scale resistant, both internally and externally. SP is

manufactured in outer diameters of: 14, 16,18, 20, 25, 32

mm. in standard roll lengths of 50 and 100 meters. SP is

color - coded: orange, blue, white and black for different

uses and easy identification. It can be used in a wide variety

of installations and can be simply and easily bent by hand.

SP pipes are acoustically and thermally insulated, can be

located quickly by metal detectors and can be easily attached

to any existing system.

Press FittingsA Fitting for all needsIn 1998 SP Metzerplas introduced a systemof press connection fittings that is moreefficient, economical and easier to use.SP press connectors provide a strong, secureand durable seal.The wide range of pipes, connectors andaccessories allow quick and easy installationof the piping system, inside the home andout (for plumbing, heating, compressed air,and more) and enable it’s connection toany existing system.

The hermetic solutionThe pressing sleeve is firmly clamped tothe pipe and inserted connector with theuse of a pressing device*. The addition ofthe two O-rings found on the insertedconnector, guarantee a hermetic seal forhot and cold water systems.The stainless steel sleeve protects the pipeends and increases durability, as well asimproving the pipes appearance, be it insidea wall or on any exposed installations.*Additional advantage - The pressing deviceautomatically produces the right amountof pressure needed for proper sealing.

The SPthreaded connectors provide acomplete system of pipes and fittingsfor installations of any commercial orhome piping system, inside and out,for plumbing, heating, compressed air,and more.These threaded connectors allow theoptimum combination of ease andfunctional efficiency, thus supplyingthe means to successfully meet all yourdifferent piping needs.

A stable sealAfter insertion of the connector intothe pipe, the threaded nut is thentightened on to the pipe end, whichproduces pressure on the connectorsleeve. This sleeve presses against thepipe, producing a sure, strong andstable seal.The connecting nut is removable,whereas the inserted connectorremains firmly placed in the pipe, andthus enables its use with other fittingswithout loss in the integrity of theconnection.
