All polyolefin products, such as polyethylene of high and low density (PEVD and PEND), polypropylene (PP), and also fluorine-containing hydrocarbons (PTFE, PFA, FEP) have both high temperature and chemical resistant, easy to clean wetting surfaces.

Small contaminations can be removed by neutral (рН=7) cleansers. In case of severe contaminations alkaline (pH to 12) cleansers can be used.

Laboratory equipment used for trace contaminant analysis shall be soaked in 1Н hydrochloric acid (HCL) for no longer than 6 hours, then to be washed with distilled water to exclude cations or anions contamination.

Never use scouring powder or abrasive sponges for cleaning plastic products. Do not wash polycarbonate products with alkaline-containing substance.

Polypropylene – thermoplastic material, as stable as polystyrene. Polypropylene is characterized by high impact resistance, high resistance to multiple flexing, low steam and gas permeability. Polypropylene is a good dielectric, heat-conducting properties are minimal. Physiologically harmless.

Polyethylene – thermoplastic, non-transparent material, combines high stability under elasticity with elasticity. Nontoxic.

ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) – impact resistant, technical, thermoplastic resin made by polymerizing styrene and acrylonitrile in the presence of polybutadiene.

Polycarbonate – thermoplastic, stable, light, optically pure, plastic, freeze resistant polymer. A good dielectric and very long-lasting.

Polymethyl methacrylate – is a synthetic polymer of methylmethacrylate, thermoplastic transparent plastic, well-known under the name acrylic glass, acrylic.
