Saviez-vous qu’il existe des différences considérables entre les vitraux soudés et non-soudés?

non-soUdéCes vitraux sont de fabrication 100% canadienne et sont assemblés à notre

usine de Montréal. Les tiges d’aluminium anodisées que nous utilisons permettent

à nos artisans la création d’un design sobre, moderne et contemporain. Cette technique d’assemblage élimine toute

vibration en plus d’empêcher l’oxydation des tiges, lui conférant ainsi un aspect uniforme, élégant et durable. de plus,

aucun plomb n’entre dans la composition du vitrail et les joints sont francs.

soUdésLes vitraux soudés sur le marché sont,

en très grande majorité, importés de manufactures asiatiques. Les possibilités de design avec des courbes et des arches complexes sont beaucoup plus grandes,

toutefois, l’assemblage des tiges peut causer une vibration du vitrail lors de son

utilisation quotidienne. Cette vibration est d’ailleurs amplifiée en fonction du nombre de soudure qui retiennent les pièces de verre et de la complexité du vitrail. Les soudures étant réalisées au plomb, elles ont tendances à s’oxyder avec le temps et changent de couleur.

did you know that there are significant differences between welded and non-welded doorlites?

non-weldedthese doorlites are 100% Canadian-made and assembled at our Montreal plant. the anodized aluminum camings that we use allow our artisans to create streamlined, contemporary designs. they are assembled using a technique that eliminates all vibrations, as well as protecting the camings against oxidation, which gives them a uniform, elegant, durable quality. What’s more, the doorlites are completely lead-free and the gaskets are straight.

weldedthe welded doorlites on the market are, for the most part, imported from Asian manufacturers. they offer greater possibilities in terms of designs with complex arches and curves; however, the manner in which the camings are assembled may cause the doorlite to vibrate during everyday use. this vibration is amplified based on the number of welds used to secure the glass panes and the complexity of the doorlite. Since the welds are made with lead, they tend to oxidize and change colour over time.

Saviez-vous qu’il existe des différences considérables entre les vitraux soudés et non-soudés?

non-soUdésCes vitraux sont de fabrication 100% canadienne et sont assemblés à notre usine de Montréal. Les tiges d’aluminium anodisées que nous utilisons permettent à nos artisans la création d’un design sobre, moderne et contemporain. Cette technique d’assemblage élimine toute vibration en plus d’empêcher l’oxydation des tiges, lui conférant ainsi un aspect uniforme, élégant et durable. de plus, aucun plomb n’entre dans la composition du vitrail et les joints sont francs.

soUdésLes vitraux soudés sur le marché sont, en très grande majorité, importés de manufactures asiatiques. Les possibilités de design avec des courbes et des arches complexes sont beaucoup plus grandes, toutefois, l’assemblage des tiges peut causer une vibration du vitrail lors de son utilisation quotidienne. Cette vibration est d’ailleurs amplifiée en fonction du nombre de soudure qui retiennent les pièces de verre et de la complexité du vitrail. Les soudures étant réalisées au plomb, elles ont tendances à s’oxyder avec le temps et changent de couleur.

Did you know that there are significant differences between welded and non-welded doorlites?

non-weLdedThese doorlites are 100% Canadian-made and assembled at our Montreal plant. The anodized aluminum camings that we use allow our artisans to create streamlined, contemporary designs. They are assembled using a technique that eliminates all vibrations, as well as protecting the camings against oxidation, which gives them a uniform, elegant, durable quality. What’s more, the doorlites are completely lead-free and the joints are straight.

weLdedThe welded doorlites on the market are, for the most part, imported from Asian manufacturers. They offer greater possibilities in terms of designs with complex arches and curves; however, the manner in which the camings are assembled may cause the doorlite to vibrate during everyday use. This vibration is amplified based on the number of welds used to secure the glass panes and the complexity of the doorlite. since the welds are made with lead, they tend to oxidize and change colour over time.
