Car Operating Panel (KSS 470)

The Car Operating Panel includes all interfaces needed by the user: Call buttons Special functions buttons and keys (e.g. alarm, door open) Emergency light Floor position indicator Informative messages (e.g. call locked, priority calls, elevator under Firemans drive) Provision for remote monitoring and two-way communication with a KONE service

center.

The key button for a PIN code enables access to special control options (e.g. to give priority use during removals, rubbish collection etc.) and to control the operation of the optional fan.

Aluminium or stainless steel handrails can be placed on rear and/or side walls, but not on the same wall as the Car Operating Panel. (to facilitate access to buttons at thewheelchair users level).

For security reasons, the control systemcan be set to: Have a compulsory stop at the main

floor (where security personnel islocated)

Send a signal to the building system to illuminate the landing before the elevator stops at that floor

Cancel a stop at a floor where fire protection doors have been activated.

EBD (Emergency Battery Drive) Automatically moves the car to the nearest floor when the car has stopped outside

door zone because of a failure of power supply.

EPD (Emergency Power Drive) When the buildings emergency power generator is not powerful enough to move

all the elevators in the group at the same time, this feature moves each elevator to aspecified floor.

The tenant directory can be fixed on the wall andholds printed material up to 0.5 mm thick.

The tip-up seat provides user comfort orsupport for small items such as handbags,vanity cases or travel bags.

Provides priority service and keepsthe elevator out of service.

Landing call stations, hall lanterns and hall lantern indicators are door-mounted for easyand fast integration and to minimize thebuilding interface. They can be wall-mountedon request.

The interfaces formaintenance and rescueoperations are integrated ina small cabinet, which canbe integrated at thetopmost landing door oreven one floor below. Thedoor cabinet finishing isavailable in Asturias Satin(F), Scottish Quad (K),Flemish Linen (M) andZinc-coated (Z).

As an option a wall-mounted solution can besupplied to allow more flexibility. It can even belocated on the side wall of the shaft. The wallcabinet finishing is Brushed Aluminium.

Dot-matrix displays support a wide range of letters and numbers.
