Tavern is the history of a strange romance between a gentleman and the tavern maid
in the 17th century. The brief performance offers us moments of emotion and humor
that framed in a tour replete with medieval legends and that turns out to be
unforgettable.
It is always amazing to look at things from a different point of view, especially if we are referring to a city.
This tour lets us see Barcelona from its heights, moving around terrace roves and high points of the city
from where we can admire Barcelona.
Barcelona from the Heights. Discover a new city.
We couldn’t miss Montjuic (MNAC and Mirador del
Alcalde) and then walking from different terrace
rooves such as the Cathedral roof to get the best
views of the Gothic Quarter.
We are going to begin climbing up to the terrace of the Park Güell, the
modernist works is a master piece based on the English garden-cities and
constructed on site with amazing views to Barcelona and the sea.
After, we will climb the roof of the Pedrera to fully
understand the “Eixample” city project.
Optional: A cocktail will be
served on a special roof-
terrace from where you will
relax and while enjoy the best
views of the Gothic quarter.
Let us share with you an exclusive experience in Barcelona!
PASSEIG DE GRÀCIA Luxury & Haute Couture
We all know that Passeig De Gràcia is the
open air ‘museum’ of modernista architecture,
the great showcase of noteworthy buildings
which have been designated World
Heritage Sites. However, this is only one of
things that this elegant boulevard affords us.
Over the last few years the businesses
located on this grand boulevard have changed
hands: the headquarters of banks have given
over to the world’s most exclusive fashion
labels and hotel chains.
With the help of an expert guide, ICONO invites you to join a route that will allow you to
discover the history and evolution of the boulevard (inextricably intertwined with the Eixample).
You’ll also discover some of the juiciest tales of its stars and the origins of the most select
brands.
According to experts, its unique architecture and shops (such as Chanel, Dolce&Gabbana,
Valentinio, Bvlgary, Hermés, or local labels Furest and Santa Eulàlia) have placed the Passeig De
Gràcia amongst the top ten streets in the world, and where you’ll find a high number of top-
end shops; to the extent that some companies have to wait years until they are able to open
their shops here. The days when the Passeig De Gràcia was a mere street which linked the old
city and the old town of Gràcia are long gone.

Santa Maria of the Sea.
The young Arnau works as a dock worker, soldier and money changer. However, his life, always under the
protection of the Cathedral dedicated to the Sea, will change when he changes his misery for nobility and
wealth.
We start visiting the Pabellón Mies van der Rohe, initially
conceived for the Universal Exhibition in 1929. We continue along
Montjuïc Mountain having a look at the Olympic ring and the Sport
facilities where the Olympic Games where held in 1992. The tour

the recent patrimony of both 20th and 21st centuries.

Pintxos Workshop
Basques people are good eaters and demanding ones, and the
Basque version of tapas - pinchos or pintxos - tend to be more
elaborated than ordinary tapas.
In the early 20th Century small taverns appeared in the Basque
Country, places to share the country’s best ciders and wines
together with traditional foods in an informal and popular
atmosphere. Following the example of the cider-makers, bite-sized
toothpick foods known as pintxos were served to counter the
excesses caused by drinking.
In the first part of the visit, our chef will give an explication of the workshop,
a short introduction into this particular cuisine and you will go on to create
an elaborate pincho with its own tasting notes.
Afterwards we will divide the group into small working groups and each will
receive the materials and basic ingredients with which to create the
pinchos; 5 or 6 ingredients.
From this point on, each group will begin to create different pinchos using
the ingredients that have been given to them as well as the specific tasting
notes for each one.
To round off the workshop, there will be a blind tasting, that is to say that
one member of each group will try a portion of each pincho, make an
appreciation and give their verdict. For his part, the chef will go over each
one of the tasting notes written by the groups, in order to name the winning
team.
Do you dare to compete with
your collegues in a cocktail workshop-
competition for amateurs?
In this activity it is important to
learn the exact measure of each of the
ingredients but, above all, shake the
cocktail, the best mixture will be the
winner.
Shake it, shake it and shake!
During the activity of two hours long, you will make two classic
cocktails under the supervision of a professional barman expert
in cocktails recipes.
First of all, an expert master will do a demonstration at the same
time as the members of the group will make their own cocktail.
Everything counts in this part: the time of elaboration of the
cocktail and the delicious refreshing taste of the Caipi-fruits and
the jackass mojito.
In the second part, members will be split in groups of
15 or 20 people and only those who have been chosen
as representatives of the group will enter the fray to
prepare a more complicated cocktail.
The best cocktail wins!

Groups can be from ten people to several hundred, where participants unite in the rhythm of the "Jembe" drum. Sessions last approximately one hour. Each participant has an authentic “Jembe” drum and with it all of them will embark on a journey of musical and rhythmic exploration. The element surprise and the fact that everything is kept very simple are keys to our success.
Follow the beat with your company events!
Groups find themselves suddenly immersed in a totally new activity producing extraordinary results and fostering a strong sense of non-verbal communication in an extremely enjoyable way with surprising results.
Why the "Jembe" drum? The rhythm of the drums connects with everyone, without exception. In the 90's it took the world by storm, because in spite of its extreme complexity, it can be learned very quickly at a basic level. The drum has always been a primary tool of communication in every civilization and every continent across the globe.
The one we use is the “Jembe” drum from western Africa, more specifically the Mandinka area, now Mali-Guinea. These "Jembes" come from an arts and craft company from Bamako, Mali, which carries out environmental reforestation as well as socio-cultural programmes.
