Where we come from

Our story begins in the ‘50s

Award-winning products


Our company opened in Italy in the 1950s, and was known for its passion and research right from the start: we belong to that group of companies that, at the time, were making a significant contribution to creating and establishing the concept of Italian design. Our product offer has always been decisively innovative: we were the first in Italy to produce partition walls (Programma Interparete, 1965) or walls and panel systems for open spaces (Brick System, 1970, 1982/3). A trend of product innovation has marked our past, and continues to be evident in our present.

La nostra attività è iniziata in Italia negli anni ‘50 e si è subito caratterizzata per la passione per la ricerca: siamo tra le aziende che, in quegli anni, hanno dato un contributo significativo alla nascita e all’affermazione del design italiano. Da sempre la nostra proposta di prodotto è decisamente innovativa: siamo stati i primi in Italia a produrre le pareti divisorie (Programma Interparete, 1965) o sistemi di parete attrezzate e divisorie gli open space (Brick System 1970, 1982/3). Una tendenza all’innovazione di prodotto che caratterizza la nostra storia ma anche la nostra attualità.

Our vision of excellent design was appreciated by many, and has obtained much recognition both nationally and internationally. We received these awards at different times during our activity, rewarding our commitment to research and the type of innovation that is a fundamental characteristic of our company. In 1981, the Siglo sofa, designed with ICF by Francesco Soro, won the Compasso d’Oro; the small armchair Pac Chair, designed with ICF by Cristophe Marchand, won the Innovation Award from NEOCON 2003 in Chicago.

Our production is mainly for the office understood as an environment where work happens: institutional and operative chairs, work and meeting tables, desk systems and modular tables, modular systems and containers for filing and storing office materials. Our catalogue does not necessarily follow a specific single concept. Instead, it finds a reason of specific interest within every collection. In other words, we don’t aim for a finished set of furniture. We want a series of pieces that have the same personality in spite of their differences An open collection that aims at achieving excellence in form and function with products matching one to the other.

La nostra produzione è rivolta principalmente all’ufficio inteso come ambiente di lavoro: sedute istituzionali e operative, tavoli da lavoro e da riunione, sistemi di scrivanie e tavoli componibili, contenitori e sistemi componibili per l’archiviazione di materiale per l’ufficio.Il nostro catalogo non segue necessaria-mente un unico filo conduttore, ma trova all’interno di ogni collezione un motivo di interesse specifico.Non arredamento completo, ma una serie di pezzi aventi un carattere uniforme nono-stante la loro diversità. Una collezione aperta tendente anzitutto all’eccellenza formale e funzionale con pro-dotti che si armonizzano tra di loro.


Our production is quite varied and supported by a production cycle serving our designing skills, one of the true highlights of our firm.We are used to produce with materials that differ very much between each other: pressure die-cast and extruded aluminium, wood and laminated materials, leather, textiles and upholstery products.We have developed a vast experience in the management of the production process coordinating all the manufacturing stages and carefully controlling each step, from the incoming goods to the delivery of the finished products.

La nostra produzione è molto articolata e supportata da un ciclo produttivo al servizio della nostra capacità progettuale, vero e proprio plus aziendale.Siamo abituati a produrre con materiali molto diversi tra loro: pressofusioni ed estrusioni di alluminio, legno e laminati, pelle, tessuti e manufatti di tappezzeria.Abbiamo sviluppato una grande esperienza nella gestione della filiera produttiva coordinando tutte le fasi della lavorazione e controllando attentamente ogni passaggio, dalla merce in entrata alla consegna dei prodotti.

Space planning and sales support

To make a good product you need a good plan. You have to listen to the needs of your customers and gear your vision of the scheme to the actual daily needs. Our designing ability is a direct consequence of the requirements of our customers and the experience we gather through the projects we carry out every day. The project is developed on the basis of his/her creative, executive and economic needs. The company can supply strong support through CAD 2-3D or PDF systems. Later, a planning space is set up in collaboration with our Technical Office so that we can have precise indications on finishes, materials, timing and costs.

La nostra capacità progettuale è una diretta conseguenza delle richieste dei nostri clienti e dell’esperienza che accumuliamo nei progetti che quotidianamente realizziamo. Lo sviluppo del progetto avviene sulla base delle sue esigenze creative, esecutive ed economiche. L’azienda è in grado di fornire supporti concreti mediante sistemi CAD 2-3D o PDF e, successivamente, la realizzazione di uno space planning in collaborazione con il nostro Ufficio Tecnico, in modo da avere indicazioni precise su finiture e materiali, tempi e costi.

The diecast aluminium frame structure is extremely strong and durable. It is available with a white or black painted finish or with a chrome finish. The covering has the form of a particular suspension in very breathable transparent elastic mesh, available in several colours. This feature helps create a look that is simultaneously pleasant, lightweight and highly professional. The suspension is available also with traditional covers in fabric or leather.

La struttura della scocca è in pressofu-sione di alluminio, estremamente robu-sta e durevole, disponibile con finitura verniciata bianca o nera, oppure cromata. Versatility and style



The Stick Chair collection includes a multi-function chair, a stool, a visitor’s chair, a height adjustable swivel chair on wheels and also a waiting room chair. The chair is available with or without armrests (which can be installed at a later time), and it is possible to stack up to 15 units in height, or if using a specifically designed wheeled cart, up to 25 units. The chair only weighs 4.4 kg, which allows for simple and intuitive stacking by adding only 22 mm between chairs.

Designed by Christophe Marchand, Samurai is a collection of cosy chairs that offers appearance features with distinctly different cultural and geographic origins. Oriental simplicity can clearly be seen in its lines, which resemble a kind of modern origami. The chair seat and backrest recall the seats in a sports car, or even the armour of a warrior. With its stitched leather, Samurai projects a technical, yet hand-made image at the same time. And it has great symbolic value. The combination of natural and technological appearance elements expresses a design approach in which simplified shapes turn the pieces into important items in today’s highly complex office scenario.

Unitable is a system that can be changed continuously because it’s based on a structural element - namely, a beam in extruded aluminium - that can be used individually or combined with other transverse beams, and also acts as a housing for cables. All the components in the system are connected to the beam: whenever there is a need to expand the number of workstations or to modify their functions or appearance.

Unitable è un sistema che si presta a continue trasformazioni perchè si sviluppa attorno ad un elemento strutturale, la trave in alluminio estruso, che può essere utilizzata singolarmente o in combinazione con altre travi trasversali, e rappresenta anche lo spazio di alloggiamento dei cavi. Push-in is a modular system made up of two main elements: a vertical “containing” element, a Service Container, and a horizontal bearing surface, the top.The Service Container and top can be pushed into each other or used autonomously.It is suitable for use both in the office area as well as in the living area.The possibility of joining the elements with each other allows the creation of compact furniture units, and in this manner Push-in provides new dimensions and new solutions to the planning of rooms.The Service Container’s dimensions are compatible with the standard sizes of information technology equipment. The system, which is flexible and easy to handle, is completed with easily insertable organizational elements such as the Caddy, drawers, small doors, rear walls and supports for cabling, etc.

Flexible office

The base of the top is provided with holes spaced so that the legs can be fastened in various position and, in the bottom central parts, it is possible to fasten spe-cial cable raceway tray units. The table legs can be made of tubular steel varni-shed aluminium with epoxy powder and equipped with adjustable feet.

La struttura portante dei piani è predi-sposta con una foratura continua per fissare le gambe in varie posizioni inoltre nella sua parte inferiore centrale posso-no essere fissate le vaschette modulari passacavi. Le gambe dei piani sono ese-guite in tubolare di acciaio verniciato a polveri epossidiche di colore alluminio e dotate di piedini regolabili.

The frame and the legs are already prepared for wiring up, so the various wires normally seen around offices are all hidden away. The top is available in a broad variety of materials and finishes: wood and underpainted glass.

È importante sottolineare che, a richiesta, i tavoli possono esse-re elettrificati: il progettista può definire i punti in cui posizionare i terminali elettrici per monitor, microfoni o altro. Cavi e fili sono collocati all’interno e quindi non sono visibili.

StoreBox has been designed as a product with extremely rigorous and essential lines, with an attention to details that upgrades its aesthetic value. The materials too give the product a strong expressive force: the tambour door is made of natural satin aluminium, as the specially designed profile in which the transparent PET handle is set in order to allow the easy opening of doors and drawers.

StoreBox è stato pensato come un prodotto dalla linea estremamente rigorosa ed essenziale, con una cura nei dettagli che ne aumenta il valore estetico. Anche i materiali utilizzati conferiscono al prodotto una intensa forza espressiva: la serrandina è in alluminio satinato naturale, così come il profilo appositamente ideato, dentro il quale è incassata la maniglia in PET trasparente che permette una facile apertura di ante e cassetti.
