Over the fifty years of their existence, Moroso has extended the range of their products, both vertically (paddedproducts) and horizontally (accessories), drawing strength from which they present the new exhibition proposal. The evolution in consumer trends, in the perception of values associated with products, the logic of exhibiting, theknowledge of products and how they interact and rotate, all these have in fact prompted Moroso to propose aninstrument that facilitates display inside the point-of-purchase and at the same time helps consumers in their choices.Customers in fact perceive Moroso’s trump card of proposing the sofa, which, though having its own strongpersonality, succeeds in being independent and change connotation and perception, thanks to the timely insertion ofmore or less designed accessories. In line with the Moroso spirit, Stanze are sectional, fl exible, personal andpersonalisable, bright, cheerful, stand alone, and therefore unique in relation to the other market proposals; they areaspirational, not fi nished in every detail but with a clear target of taste of reference. The departure point is the sofa,the Moroso trademark.

The eight best-selling sofas have been chosen:Lowland, design Patricia Urquiola _ Springfield, design Patricia Urquiola _ Highlands, design Patricia Urquiola _Phoenix, design Patricia Urquiola _ Globe, design Carlo Colombo _ Malmö, design Patricia Urquiola _ Victoria & Albert, design Ron Arad _ Adriano, design Moroso design Centre

It is around these that three living room suggestions revolve: Classic Elegant and directed at a middle-class target,with a bright, positive, fresh and timeless interpretation. Dark tones or French-style spiral decorations are in fact notused and proposed, as they are so far removed from the Moroso spirit. This is an important innovation for thecompany and the market. Modern Synonymous with the collaboration with Patricia Urquiola, it is composed ofelements conceived to be together, to be coordinated and to supplement each other, though maintaining an attitudeof precise identity and autonomy. It is a proposal open to functions that are not predetermined; it is eclectic andcapable of responding to needs and the new modes of everyday living, always keen to create a reassuring mood. Contemporary This has the distinctive and unambiguous sign of the thought and philosophy of Moroso: the design isin fact the point of departure from which the collections are articulated and come to life. From the forms of Ron Arad,Javier Mariscal and Marc Newson, which marked the production in the ‘90s, to the sparer, more essential, yetdynamic and piercing lines of Konstantin Grcic, Tom Dixon and Alfredo Häberli, from the years that followed.

Various combinations of colours, fabrics, furnishing accessories, dimensions, to which have been added carpets,lamps, pictures and mirrors, given the desired connotation and taste.

The possibility of the dining module has also been envisaged, to meet the increasing demand for a living-dining zone.

It is important to remember that the combinations proposed are not a univocal key to the interpretation of the Morosoproduct, but rather a key to display for the point-of-purchase (P-O-P). A careful market analysis has in fact highlightedto us that consumers are influenced by the exhibition logic and the evocative features of the display; we thereforepropose some possible solutions, conceived starting from the sofa for the products that can revolve around it. It iscertainly not an interpretation of taste, but rather one of the possible keys to interpretation that we give our products.It is simply an additional instrument, of which, on each occasion, we will provide CDs with the various solutions -classic, modern and contemporary - which we will subsequently call 01, 02, 03, to emphasise the non-obligatorycomponent. If the objective of the rooms is to model and characterise our offer inside the point-of-purchase, basedon different areas of taste according to the targets of consumers, we think the following are fundamental: thepositioning inside the P-O-P, the size of the room and the awareness that one or more rooms can coexist with eachother and with other companies’ proposals.

Nel suo percorso cinquantenario, Moroso ha allargato la gamma dei suoi prodotti in senso verticale (imbottiti) ed insenso orizzontale (complementi) e forte di questo presenta la nuova proposta espositiva. L’evoluzione del consumertrend, della percezione dei valori associati ai prodotti, della logica espositiva, la conoscenza dei prodotti ed il knowhow di come interagiscono e ruotano, hanno infatti spinto Moroso a proporre uno strumento che agevolal’esposizione all’interno del punto vendita e contemporaneamente aiuta il consumatore nelle sue scelte. Quest’ultimo percepisce infatti l’atout Moroso di proporre il divano, che pur avendo una sua forte personalità, riesce a rimanere indipendente ed a cambiare connotazione e percezione grazie all’inserimento puntuale di complementi piùo meno disegnati. Le Stanze, in linea con l’anima Moroso sono componibili, flessibili, personali e personalizzabili,solari, allegre, “stand alone” e dunque uniche rispetto alle altre proposte di mercato, aspirazionali, non finite in ognidettaglio ma con un chiaro target di gusto di riferimento. Si parte dal divano, trademark di Moroso.

attorno cui ruotano tre suggerimenti abitativi: Classico Elegante e diretto ad un target borghese conun’interpretazione solare, positiva, fresca ed atemporale. Non vengono infatti utilizzati e proposti toni scuri o decorivoluti alla francese, così lontani dall’anima Moroso. Si tratta di un’importante novità per l’azienda e per il mercato.Moderno Sinonimo della collaborazione con Patricia Urquiola, si compone di elementi pensati per stare insieme,coordinarsi ed integrarsi, pur mantenendo un’attitude di precisa identità ed autonomia. È una proposta aperta afunzioni non prederminate, eclettica e capace di rispondere ai bisogni ed ai nuovi modi di vivere il quotidiano, con unocchio sempre attento ad un mood rassicurante. Contemporaneo Ha il segno distintivo ed inequivocabile delpensiero e della filosofia di Moroso: il design è infatti il punto di partenza da cui si snodano e prendono vita lecollezioni. Dalle forme di Ron Arad, Javier Mariscal e Marc Newson che hanno segnato la produzione anni ’90, allelinee più secche, lineari essenziali, ma anche dinamiche e perforanti di Konstantin Grcic, Tom Dixon, Alfredo Häberli,degli anni successivi.

È importante ricordare che gli abbinamenti proposti non sono una chiave di lettura univoca del prodotto Moroso,quanto piuttosto una chiave espositiva per il punto vendita. Un’attenta analisi di mercato ci ha infatti rilevato che ilconsumatore è influenzato dalla logica espositiva e dalle valenze evocative del display e pertanto proponiamo dellepossibili soluzioni pensate a partire dal divano per i prodotti che possono ruotarvi intorno. Non è sicuramenteun’interpretazione di gusto, quanto piuttosto una delle possibili chiavi di lettura che diamo ai nostri prodotti. Se l’obiettivo delle stanze è di modellare e caratterizzare la nostra offerta, in funzione di aree di gusto differenti aseconda dei target dei consumatori, riteniamo essere fondamentali il posizionamento all’interno del punto vendita, lametratura della stanza e la consapevolezza che una o più stanze possono convivere tra di loro e con le proposte dialtre aziende. Pertanto consigliamo di non alterare il contenuto di una stanza e, nel caso di sostituzione, di sostituirlain toto. Un capitolo a parte meritano le vetrine, un modo inequivocabile per convogliare i clienti all’interno del puntovendita e trasmettere qualità, quantità, prodotti, gusto e componente evocativa. La vetrina è un concept che vasicuramente sviluppato: deve avere carattere, cambiare trimestralmente per trasmettere la dinamicità del puntovendita, far vedere ma anche incuriosire, essere impattante e saper trasmettere il concetto di Stanze a seconda dellediverse tipologie classico, moderno o contemporaneo.
