Getting to Know Each Other

• My first day in this class was a little rocky. The students seemed like they did not want me in their class.

• Once I was able to introduce myself, many of the students were asking questions.

Daily Tasks

• Normally when I came into the class, the students were at lunch.

• I would clear off my desk, and the other tables of paper, art materials, etc.

• Next, I would write the objective on the board, along with a game.

• Most of the time, the game was to draw a figure on the board and see how many “friends” we could get.

What I Received from my Internship

• The main thing I learned is what a teacher does on a daily basis, and what they have to do to become a teacher.

• Another thing I took out of this internship is that every student learns differently, and even at a younger age most of them have a variety of personalities.
