Music Video CastingA2 Media
Manchester Orchestra Cope
Mark Tones
Mark shall play the main protagonist in my music video, I have selected him because of his stature, being over 6' in height, and skinny, this gives him the elongated, and almost malnourished look I wanted. He also has a background in
performing music so he has the
ability to perform.
Alice Gilhespy-Swan
Alice will play “girl in kitchen”, the reason's I have selected Alice is because she has a background in acting and performing, playing main roles in stage shows such as Dorothy in The
Wizard of Oz.
Jordan Thornhill
Jordan will be the only person playing 2 roles because he fit's the criteria of 2 roles, firstly he will play the drummer, as he has been playing the drums for approx. 10 years, and will be talented enough to play along with the track in time. He will also play the prophetic homeless man, a reason
I chose Jordan to play him, is because
I have worked with Jordan on a
previous project, in which he played
a homeless man as well.
Doug Macaskill
I have decided to cast Doug as a bassist, as of a long friendship with him, and I know that he is an extremely talented bassist, having played with him in several bands, I also know he is good with performing and was my natural selection for the bassist in my video.
Lewis Kendal
Lewis shall play the guitarist in my video, I have selected him because he is a talented musician, he has the capability of being able to play well, as well, he is a fan of the style of music my video is for, and has a knowledge of the look needed, and should be easy to negotiate costume with.
Mat Appleyard
I have selected me to play the singer, as of my look, I have the making of a small neck-beard, and have a similar fashion sense to the singer of Manchester Orchestra. As well as this, I am a vocalist, and I am used to singing in bands, as well
as this, I have a background in
performing arts, being part of
several classes and theatre
groups.
