What help do we need from IBP (or anyone else)?1. R-based tools for routine breeding analysis in Fieldbook-IMIS
• We need to make sure that the 5-6 most important breeding analyses are bundled in the fieldbook using R, and run well on small laptops.
• Easy retrospective analysis of long-term trial databases, link to environmental data.
• We need good interfaces and graphics2. Support for migration from spreadsheets to a breeding informatics
system3. Pipeline for sequence -> called alleles for GBS. 4. Geo-referenced estimation of plot residuals for local error control!!
