Comprehensive automation of loan origination processes in the area of retail lending

Grouping of loan applications according its consideration stages


The Credit Officer monitors all the applications atdifferent stages of consideration process: to beprocessed by the Credit Officer, to be processed bythe Loan Administration Department, DisbursedLoans, Rejected Loans, etc.

Origination of a new loan application


Upon customer addressing thebank for a loan, the credit officerinitiates a new loan application

Customer Identification


The Credit Officer identifies thecustomer based on his attributes. Theset of search attributes can be flexiblyconfigured, according to loan productrequirements

Review and analysis of the customer credit history


A new loan application appears in the system.The list of actions is enabled for the Officer toproceed with the application. This list iscontextual, varying according to the stage ofthe business process and current loanapplication consideration status.

The Credit Officer starts with the analysis ofcredit history

Customer credit history


The Officer gets familiarized with informationon all customer loans, as well as with the loanswhere the customer acted as a guarantor

Customer deposit history


The Officer gets familiarized withinformation on all customer deposits

Customer requests history


The Officer gets acquainted with all theRequests that the customer hassubmitted to the Bank, as well as withthe current status of given Requests

Customer rating calculation


The system calculates the customer ratingbased on customer punctuality anddiscipline in repaying the existing loans(the delay duration, the delay amount, ...)

Attaching external documents to the application


Within the loan consideration process,the Credit Officer attaches requiredexternal documents to the application,such as scanned copies of ID card,signature samples etc. Thus, the officerforms and updates a full “ElectronicCredit Dossier” of the borrower.

All the loan application informationregistered in the system, including alldocuments attached to it, gets availablefor review and analysis to allparticipants, involved in the process ofapplication consideration and creditdecision making.

The Officer inputs the missinginformation or updates the existingCustomer personal data

Input the parameters of the requested loan


The Officer introduces the mainparameters of the requested loan, aswell as the information on theCustomer income and expenditures

Review the results of the indicators calculated


The system automatically calculatesa number of customer keyindicators that support the CreditOfficer in loan decision making

Familiarization with the data for decision making


The system calculates the customerrating based on his loan history,existence of delinquencies andtimeliness of its repayment, theexistence of deposits.

Initiating the Loan issuance


The Loan Officerinitiates the issuance ofthe loan

Opening the Credit Agreement

The Credit Officer prints out andsigns with the customer all thedocuments required toaccompany the loan deal

Review the Loan Application history


The Loans granted are transferred intothe status ISSUED

The whole chronology and sequence ofactions on the loan applicationprocessing is registered in the system.At any point of Application processing itis possible to view the history of theseactions

The history of actions related to theloan application provides thecomprehensive information for KPI-analysis in the context of time spent ateach stage of the applicationconsideration.

This information helps to identify thebottlenecks of business-processesaiming at their further optimization
