Lining System SCR-TEN 2 Challenges • The remote location of this stack required importing all materials and equipment for the construction Detail of work by BEC BEC was awarded the Design & Build package for the 150 meter RC chimney comprising 3 x 3.30m internal diameter flues including pile cap works, slip-forming works, heavy lifting of roof, floors, and flues, flue external insulation, installation of internal rack and pinion hoist, AWLs, internal lighting, lightning conductor and earthing works. Therma Visayas Energy Project, Philippines Therma Visayas Energy Project generating equipment will consist of 2x170 MW steam turbines that will use the latest circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boilers. This ensures that the power plant will meet government standards on health, environment protection and safety. THERMA Visayas Inc., a subsidiary of Aboitiz Power Corp. and Vivant Corp. was constructing a 340 megawatt (MW) thermal power plant in Toledo City, Cebu. The power plant, which will have a net capacity of 300 MW. Hyundai Engineering Co., Ltd. and Galing Power Energy Co., Inc. was the appointed Main EPC Contractor.
