Delivery Works were completed over 3 weekends, starting at 21:00 on Friday nights and working continuously until 06:00 on Monday morning 12500t in 11 surfacing shifts and only 6 planing shifts Use of 8m wide paver eliminated 4kms of joints between lanes 1 and 2, Whole life cost benefits through reduced joint failures Use of asphalt feeder – provided improved rideability through continuous paving Using walking floor lorries, the number of lorry deliveries to site were reduced by 40 less loads.
