Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport Master Plan

The airport has taken its parking management technology to a future-proof solution,

in order to provide more effective system management and enhanced customer

experience, and to build a state-of-the-art facility to meet future demand.

To achieve these goals, Clinton National Airport awarded the contract to NextGen

Parking, one of DESIGNA’s U.S. Business Partners. NextGen Parking’s installation is part

of the airport’s $2.8 million parking improvement program, which replaced the parking

management system and outdated equipment that was nearly 15 years old. With the

new DESIGNA system, Clinton National Airport became the first airport in the U.S. to

achieve EMV-ready credit card implementation.

Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport is Arkansas’s largest commercial

service airport with nearly two million passengers annually. Also known

as Adams Field, Little Rock’s airport hosts six airlines with dozens of daily

departures and nonstop service to 15 destinations, plus daily departures

to more than 300 unique destinations around the world with just one stop.

The airport was renamed Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in 2012,

formerly Little Rock National Airport.

Motorists using the parking deck at Clinton National now enjoy a high-tech parking guidance

system to save them time and reduce stress while hunting a parking spot. Brightly colored

lighting, which works off of sensors, will direct drivers to open spaces within the parking

deck. Clinton National is the first parking facility within the state of Arkansas and one of the

first airports in the country to incorporate this level of technology.
