All of these will be incorporated into a state-of-the-art development with new buildings, wide roads, modern infrastructure, more open spaces and highly visible commercial areas. SBUT will retain the mosques and religious structures in its current location. The project is a non-profit initiative planned for the welfare of the occupants of Bhendi Bazaar. The aim of the Project is a Renewal of Space and Spirit. The project has been conceived under the Government scheme, DCR 33 (9). It covers 16.5 acres of land in the congested area of Bhendi Bazaar. The entire area is nearly 100 years old. MHADA has classified most of the buildings as Dilapidated.Rather than a transit camp, Id like to call this a training camp because upliftment begins hereShahzada Dr. Qaidjoher Bhaisaheb Ezzuddin, Chairman, SBUT
