The new bespoke web based application

needed to be replaced with the client’s current

application, in order to cater the new

technology stack (.NET 4.0) and requirements

of the business.

To meet the client’s objective, Espire

developed a web based application, which runs

in a Windows platform with Oracle as backend,

in order to track and monitor the customer

feedback via complaints and suggestions.

Application for a global engineering

conglomerate

expert to perform automated regression

testing of the latest release of its flagship

We have had a long standing engagement with

Espire for over 10 years during which period Espire

has been involved in the design, build,

implementation and support of multiple sites owned

by VisitBritain which are based on the SDL Tridion

platform. We continue to engage with Espire

because they have demonstrated consistency in

quality of work, a high degree of flexibility and

excellent technology and domain expertise in the

WCM and customer experience solutions space.

Web Content Management

Espire develops website on open source CMS platform,

Drupal for a leading media Organisation to manage

business services with custom web parts, which are easy

to build and manage.

Challenge Solutions

We decided to migrate our website to the Drupal

open platform in order for us to update the website

with greater ease. For this project we engaged

Espire, who had proven expertise in the design and

development of websites using various CMS

platforms. The Espire team demonstrated excellent

knowledge and expertise in Drupal, the chosen

open platform CMS. They understood our

requirements and ensured that the project was

completed within a tight deadline. We are very

Espire optimizes Data warehouse for resolution

of data overload issues of a global engineering

conglomerate

The existing BI Data warehouse (DWH) of the

client involved multiple scheduled ETL data

loads from source systems such as PRS and

Workbooks. The main objective of DWH

Queue optimization was as follows:

• Optimise the DWH loads to be more

efficient and reduce the performance impact

globally.

• Make the DWH data more readily available

and improve the process for business users

by providing load prioritisation to complete

their reporting on time.

The existing solution offered only one

processing queue that received requests

sequentially.

A total of four queues were implemented, each

for a dedicated set of business processes: PRS

and Workbook loads, Operating Model Loads,

GL and Budget Uploads, and a fourth queue

that can be used for all other purposes (static

refresh, cube process, CRM upload and any

other new processes that may be

implemented).
