The 9,500 square foot penthouse, adjoining mechanical room and elevator room are currently being renovated. The quick turn around requirements resulted in a completed scan and Revit model delivered to the client within two weeks. DESIGN While the Revit model allows the architects to develop detailed designs of the interior finishes, the ability of the scanner to acquire spatially accurate dimensions in 3D will allow extensive millwork to be custom crafted to demanding specifications. Accurate dimensioning in the mechanical areas will allow for better renovation planning and prefabrication, resulting in a faster project delivery with little or no impact to the existing infrastructure. DEVELOP Upon completion of structural alterations currently being made on the outdoor roof deck, LandTech will return to the project site and scan the roof deck structure so that designs can be completed and prefabricated panels and finishes can be constructed.
