Welcome to our 1st Annual Simmental Bull Sale

Jodene and I would like to welcome you to our fi rst bull sale. We really appreciate your interest in our bulls and taking the time to join us here on sale day. Th is is

a very exciting time for all of us, especially Jodene and me, because we’ve expanded our cattle herd. Th is past fall, we acquired the purebred and fullblood cow herd from Aumack Simmentals at Spiritwood. Th ese females will add a lot of power to our breeding program and they will complement our existing herd tremendously.

It is also very exciting for all of us participating in a red hot cattle market. How rewarding it is to fi nally be compensated as cattle producers for our eff orts. With the cattle markets as strong as they are, and all signs pointed to a continuing profi table pattern, this is an ideal opportunity to invest in quality genetics. Our eff orts are driven to producing quality bulls by selecting proven sires as well as new sires that demonstrate loads of promise. It is important to us that we provide a diverse selection of sound, quality bulls to fi t cattle people’s needs.

Th e bulls presented in this sale have been physically examined, semen evaluated and testicle measured by a certifi ed veterinarian. We will post the measurements and bull weights on sale day. We guarantee that all bulls will be breeders. Without your support in our program, we wouldn’t be able to continue pursuing our passion. Th erefore we take your bull selection needs seriously and we will make every eff ort to guide you in the right direction to suit your program. Casaloma Cattle Company 100% GuaranteeAll bulls are guaranteed to be satisfactory breeders in accor-dance with the Canadian Simmental Association guidelines. If any problems arise with your purchase, please notify us immediately. If the bull is a non breeder or physically unable to breed cows due to conditions other than injury or mismanagement, then we will replace him with a bull of equal value or provide you with a sale credit toward the purchase of another Casaloma bull. The seller’s liability will not exceed the purchase price of the animal. We do hold a few bulls back in the event that we need a replacement.

Terms:The terms of the sale will be cash or cheque payable to Heartland Livestock. The right of property shall not pass until after settle-ment has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance unless previous arrangements have been made. In the event of a dispute between two bidders, the auctioneer will open the bidding back up between those two bidders and those two bidders only. Each animal becomes the risk of the buyer as soon as the Auctioneer says sold. Announcements from the block will take precedence over any printed material. Current exchange rate will be announced sale day. All bulls will be sold in Canadian dollars. Casaloma Cattle Company reserves the right to collect semen for in herd use only on any bull in our sale. Semen would be collected at Casaloma’s expense and the buyer’s convenience.

49B was sired by another one of the Aumack herdsires that came along with the cow herd. Tundra is a real meat machine. He’s not gigantic, but he has piles of volume, really deep and long. A very impressive bull. We are really happy that he’s here, going to be working for us. He passes on his impressiveness to all of his progeny. 49B is a prime example of how good Tundra really is. His markings are just the way I like them, large goggles, white socks and white underside. His dam is a full fleck and a direct daughter of Jack Pine Madonna.
