Office Of A Husband

Tony Bradford says: If a man desires the office of a Husband, he

aspires to a noble task and desires to do a good work. Every married

man is not a husband and a Real Husband is husband long before he

gets married. For too long "married men" have dishonored God's

Creation, these untrained, non-licensed, unapproved and non-certified

"day workers" have given the office of Husband and the institution of

marriage a bad name.

"There is no secret to a long marriage. It's hard work...it's serious

business... and certainly not for cowards." Ossie Davis

True husbanding requires much study

and plenty of practice in order to

become proficient. To be God-

approved & Christ-certified, it is

necessary to prepare oneself to learn

how to walk in the way of Love and

to follow hard after the example left by The Husband of husbands 1 Corinthians

betroth you in[a] faithfulness, and you will acknowledge the LORD.

5 Ways to Take

Your Hot Dogs to

the Next Level Alyse Whitney, Bon Appétit It's been a staple at America's backyard barbecues for over a century, but the hot dog has evolved along the way. Thanks to the now wide availability of ethnic ingredients, to high-brow chefs inspiring home cooks

with their attention to low-brow foods (kudos, David Chang and Daniel Boulud), and to bacon, the summer grilling favorite is a whole lot more interesting than it used to be. So put the ketchup and mustard away--it turns out you can teach an old dog new tricks. Here are five ways to do it.

1. Marinate them. Yes, marinate your hot dogs. Crosshatch them and leave them overnight in a ketchup-based marinade. The flavors might not break through the casing, but the sauce will give you a perfectly blistered, savory-sweet glazed hot dog.

2. Play with new toppings. In the Bon Appetit July 2009 issue we went Around the World in 80 Hot Dogs, creating a looong list of topping combinations that range from eggs benedict (just try it) to lingonberry jam. Revisit that story to mix and match your own. And here's a novel idea: Pack toppings beneath the hot dog--so bun, toppings, then hot dog. Your artful slaw might look nicer piled high atop the dish, but this arrangement will help ensure you get a little of each topping in each bite--save you a dry cleaning trip.

3. Start with quality hot dogs. Don't play the guessing game with mystery meat; go for products made with all-beef, chicken, or even lobster meat. Better yet, find a small, local producer or butcher near your town. If you're crunched for time and want to go for a national brand that's easy to find, here are our tried-and-true top three supermarket hot dogs ranked by flavor.

4. Get creative with the bun. There are myriad possibilities beyond the classic fluffy Pepperidge Farm rolls: pumpernickel bread, pretzel rolls, croissants, mini sourdough loaves, or split-top New England-style buns.

5. Try different preparation methods. Give your grill the day off. BA Associate Food Editor Mary-Frances Heck recommends splitting your dogs in half and then searing them in a hot pan; poaching them in a liquid (try adding fresh chiles, onions, beer, wine, herbs or spices for flavor); broiling them in the oven; or deep-frying them.

What’s YOUR Smile Type?

Everyone's grin is unique. If you look closely, you’ll see that mouths are much like

fingerprints in how different they are from one another. On the surface, mouths look

the same, but the difference is in the details.

QUIZ: How Symmetric Is Your Face?

Mouths convey emotions—a smile, a frown, a gasp, bewilderment or the inner

happiness you can’t hide. That’s not even taking into consideration that lips come in

tons of shapes and sizes. It's no wonder your mouth is a messenger in many ways.

The subtle muscles of your mouth determine how you communicate in your

environment.

A dozen or so muscles connect with the circular muscle around your mouth (that’s

just a fraction of those around your eyes). Some suck in the cheeks, others pucker the

lips, or lift and lower them. READ MORE …Visit http://shine.yahoo.com/channel/beauty/whats-your-smile-type-

Nissan Working to Bring EV

Charging to Roadside Service FROM Carson Nissan Blog While a lot of things have changed in the auto industry with the introduction of the all-electric Nissan Leaf, here’s one thing that hasn’t: Just the same way drivers of gasoline-powered vehicles occasionally find themselves out of of fuel and in need of roadside service, the same thing can happen to

owners of the Leaf. So, in the same way traditional roadside assistance can handle an empty fuel tank by bringing along a few extra gallons of gas, Nissan is now working to make it just as easy for Leaf drivers to get back on the road: The automaker is teaming up with the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) to test service vehicles capable of recharging EVs without the need to tow them to a stationary charging point. In fact, the first such vehicles, developed by Nissan and operated by the JAF, are already on duty in Japan. There, according to Masakazu Kume JAF executive director, they are helping “create an environment where motorists can drive EVs with the assurance that assistance is available” and supporting that country’s adoption of EVs as an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional gas- or diesel-powered. CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® applauds Gov. Brown on

signing SB 458 into law

LOS ANGELES (July 15) – The CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF

REALTORS® (C.A.R.) applauds Gov. Jerry Brown on signing SB 458 (Corbett)

into law. SB 458 extends the protections of SB 931 (2010), to ensure that any lender that agrees to a short sale

must accept the agreed upon short sale payment as payment in full of the outstanding balance of all loans.

Under previous law (SB 931 of 2010), a first mortgage holder could accept an agreed-upon short sale payment

as full payment for the outstanding balance of the loan, but unfortunately, the rule did not apply to junior lien

holders. SB 458 extends the protections of SB 931 to junior liens.

―The signing of this bill is a victory for California homeowners who have been forced to short sell their home

only to find that the lender will pursue them after the short sale closes, and demand an additional payment to

subsidize the difference,‖ said C.A.R. President Beth L. Peerce. ―SB 458 brings closure and certainty to the

short sale process and ensures that once a lender has agreed to accept a short sale payment on a property, all

lienholders – those in first position and in junior positions – will consider the outstanding balance as paid in full

and the homeowner will not be held responsible for any additional payments on the property.‖

SB 458 contains an urgency clause making it effective upon signing. http://www.terranea.com
