I still remember the very fi rst day that we met and yes like

all the good love stories we meet at a wedding.. It was the

wedding of our good friends Rodolfo and Natalie Cooper.

Little did Danielle know that I had already peeped her out a

few weeks earlier at Rodolfo’s apartment while the girls were

gone on their bachelorette party. Danielle and I sat across

from each other during the rehearsal dinner and my future

groomsmen Harold Hadnott did the introduction aft er that.

Even though we spoke frequently at dinner, what I remem-

ber most was how ours eyes kept meeting throughout the

evening. Aft er dinner, we spent the rest of that night talking

about everything from children names to the places we had

and wanted to travel in the future. We even shared a kiss

that we still talk about to this day. The rest of the weekend

seemed like a fairy tale as we spent that time getting to know

each other better. Over the next couple of months as I went

back to Philadelphia and she stayed in Houston, we fell asleep

many nights to each others voice as we spent hours on the

phone falling more in love. What sealed the deal for me how-

ever was when Danielle and I took a trip to the Florida Keys

to simply get away. The second night of the trip, Danielle and

I laid under the stars on a hammock on the beach discussing

the previous months and our future. It was that night that I

knew I would spend the rest of my life with Danielle. I guess

love does still exist.

His Storya

Our meeting was totally destiny. We were both in the wed-

ding party of our good friends Natalie and RJ. Tannon and

I sat at the same table together with other members of the

wedding party at the rehearsal dinner. We didn’t sit next

to each other but were instead separated by Tannon’s frat

brother, Harold. I can remember asking Tannon what his pro-

fession was and he said “I’m a physician.” Not a doctor but

a physician. Harold went on to run Tannon’s whole resume

down to me about how he had graduated from UT, and now

was a doctor and even had a master’s from Harvard. I was

totally impressed. Dinner came to an end and Harold invited

everyone over to his cousin’s house for cocktails. As we were

walking out to the cars, Tannon put his arm around me and

said, “So when are you coming to Philly.” Oddly enough, I felt

very comfortable with him. This time Tannon and I did sit next

to each and ended up talking for the entire night. There was

an instant chemistry between us and our conversation fl owed

so naturally. Somehow we even fi gured out that we had cho-

sen the same baby name for a daughter if we were to ever

have one. Later that night, Tannon and I kissed and at that

moment I could feel the spark between us. The next day the

wedding came, we danced and talked alot more and just had

an incredible time together. Little did we know that we had

stumbled on to something extremely rare and special, our

soulmate.
