Caroline & Bree EPK

Caroline Torti and Bree Wasylenko are two of the hottest and most sought after choreographers in Canada. Their background in jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, contemporary, acrobatics, and ballroom is what allows them to thrive as unique and innovative artists. Caroline and Bree are based out of Toronto but consistently work across North America, from L.A. to New York, Vancouver to Montreal. They are both alumni of ‘So You Think You Can Dance Canada’, and have performed in numerous feature films/TV shows over the past 10 years. Films include ‘Mirror Mirror’, ‘Sucker Punch’, ABC’s ‘Desperately Seeking Santa’, ‘Alive’, ‘Cobu 3D’, and ‘Turn The Beat Around’. Television shows include ‘The Next Step’, ‘Nikita’, ‘Bomb Girls’, ‘Baxter’, ‘Hellcats’, ‘Over The Rainbow’, ‘Canada’s Got Talent’, ‘The Listener’, ‘Lost Girl’, ‘Defiance’ and ‘Beauty and the Beast’. Their extensive knowledge of working in front of the camera gives them an advantage as choreographers in the film/TV industry. They understand what a director is looking for, from movement coaching for actors to theatrical dance routines, and can skillfully translate that to performers. Their ability to collaborate well with others is a fundamental pillar to their success. Doug Karr, the award winning director of “Tiny Dancer”, a short film choreographed by the pair that premiered at TIFF 2013, had this to say – “Caroline and Bree are the two most talented choreographers I've ever had the pleasure of working with and I've worked with quite a few... (They) were so amazing and patient during the rehearsal process and then our time on set was just incredible. To my knowledge, there really aren't any better choreographers in the film industry.” In addition, their choreography experience includes broadcast commercials with Pepperidge Farm’s ‘Feel The Crunch’, live to air award shows with Carly Rae Jepsen at the 2012 MMVA’s, working with children on YTV’s The Next Star Season 5 & 6, and artist development, choreography and creative direction for Canadian recording artist Mia Martina.
