She has taught thousands around the world in personal and professional aromatherapy, such as doctors, nurses, physical therapists, chiropractors, dietitians and dentists. Her passion for aromatherapy began when she was faced with her own health crisis, turning that adversity into triumph. Annette Davis (USA) National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA) https://naha.org/ Annette is a Certified Clinical Nutritionist & Aromatherapist with 30 years of aromatherapy experience. She began her aromatherapy career as the Secretary of the first American Aromatherapy Association (AATA) founded in 1987. She is currently president of the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA), a non-profit organization with over 5,000 members worldwide. Annette has studied under Dr. Jean Claude Lapraz since 1989. Dr. Lapraz is a practicing French Medical Doctor, world-renowned pioneer in the field of clinical phyto-aromatherapy, and the co-innovator of Endobiogeny. Annette teaches and practices phyto-aromatherapy and Endobiogeny at the Endobiogenic Integrative Medical Center (EIMC) located in Pocatello, ID. This innovative medical concept, based on a refined view of the neuro-endocrine system, integrates classical medicine with herbs and supplements, essential oils, dietary and lifestyle modifications to create a truly holistic treatment approach to illnesses of the body and mind. Carol Scheidel (USA) R.J. Buckle Associates, LLC https://rjbuckle.com/ Carol Scheidel, BSN, RN, CCAP is the owner and CEO of R.J. Buckle Associates, LLC. When Jane Buckle, PhD retired in 2016, she entrusted the continued legacy of her business to Carol. Carol’s aromatherapy career launched in 2005 when she became a certified clinical aromatherapy practitioner (CCAP), ‘M’ Technique® practitioner and an instructor for Buckle’s programs. Through R.J. Buckle, Carol teaches aromatherapy to healthcare professionals in classroom setting throughout the USA with the help of 4 instructors. Carol just launched an online aromatherapy course for healthcare professionals. Additionally, the M’ Technique® is taught around the world by instructors in Great Britain, Japan, Hong Kong, South Africa, and United States. Carol’s nursing experience includes hospital based aromatherapist, staff nurse, educator, nursing manger, critical care, emergency, pre-hospital, skilled nursing, rehabilitation and nurse ethicist. Carol is a member of AIA, IFPA and NAHA. She services on the AIA Board and as a community member on the Aromatherapy Committee at Texas Health Fort Worth Hospital. Danielle Sade (CANADA) Healing Fragrances School of Aromatherapy www.healingfragrances.net Danielle is founder of Healing Fragrances School of Aromatherapy, author of “The Aromatherapy Beauty Guide”, past president and currently active Director for the Canadian Federation of Aromatherapists. Her keen interest is to ensure evidence-based educational standards in aromatherapy schools and to collaborate globally as an aromatherapy profession. Danielle has a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and is a Certified Aromatherapy Health Professional. Having over 30 years of experience in learning, teaching, practicing, researching plant-based medicine and Aromatherapy internationally has led Danielle to create unique approaches to understanding and imparting studies in Aromatherapy and the science behind essential oils that make them unique and effective in their therapeutic applications. Danielle was and remains instrumental in developing policy, standards and by-laws for the Canadian Federation of Aromatherapists as an organization to represent Aromatherapy as a professional career in complementary health and beauty sciences. Rebeca Ledersnaider (MEXICO) Shaktili Aromaterapia/ Aromacademia https://aromacademia.com Rebeca was born in Colombia and trained as an Occupational Therapist in 1984 from the Mexican Institute of Rehabilitation. She studied two aromatherapy certification programs in the USA: Aromahead Institute (both certification and advanced programs) and The Institute of Integrative Aromatherapy. Since 2008 she has been studying as an Advanced Clinical Aromatherapist in France, with Rhiannon Lewis. In 2018, she received a Master’s Degree in

Dermopharmacy and Cosmetic Formulation from the International University of La Rioja, Spain. Rebeca has also studied with different instructors such as Robert Tisserand, Ron Guba, Dominique Baudoux and Daniel Penoël among others. In 2004, she founded Shaktili Aromatherapy, a company dedicated to promote education in the correct use of essential oils, in which we represented essential oil companies and also taught courses, workshops and Diplomas in aromatherapy. Later she founded Aromacademia exclusively for teaching purposes, for in person and on line studies. This is the only school in Mexico City, recognized by the Alliance of International Aromatherapists. She has also taught at different schools and private universities, and currently, I’m teaching a Diploma in the use of essential oils at the Universidad de las Américas in Puebla. Lora Cantele (USA) International Journal of Professional Holistic Aromatherapy & AIA Executive Director www.ijpha.com / www.alliance-aromatherapists.org Lora Cantele is a Registered Aromatherapist and Advanced Practitioner with the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA). She is a co-founder of the AIA and currently serves as its Executive Director. She served as chair on the AIA Education Committee for several years and successfully lead the development and implementation of AIA’s Aromatherapy educational standards “to take the level of aromatherapy education in the USA to new heights.” She served as a school reviewer for AIA. As a board-certified tutor for the Penny Price Academy, Lora opened a satellite school in the USA (now closed) and continues to teach Aromaflexology for Shirley Price in the USA. Lora is an international speaker, educator, author, and the editor/publisher of the International Journal of Professional Holistic Aromatherapy (IJPHA). Through the IJPHA, Lora offers advanced classes led by expert educators for those who require a higher level of continuing education. She is an honorary member of the AIA and member of the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy. Lora continues to strive for excellence in education and establishing and maintaining high standards for Aromatherapy training. Lawrence Lu (CHINA) Floralkin aromatic science Co., Ltd China practitioner of aroma health and wellness www.aromavalley.com.cn We are devoted to develop the aroma health and wellness in China. We own an educational center in Beijing for such training. Furthermore, we have a laboratory which performs analysis of essential oils, hydrolats and vegetable oils. We experiment to integrate Traditional Chinese Medicine with aromatherapy to explore the methods and functions of holistic and clinical aromatherapy.

Fiona Carr (AUSTRALIA) Rayka Education Pty Ltd https://www.raykaeducation.com.au/ Together with Elizabeth Rea, Fiona is director of Rayka Education. They are qualified tactile and clinical aromatherapists with over forty years’ experience in clinical practice and education. Their passion for essential oils and aromatherapy has led them to develop a hands-on style of education allowing them to share their journey as practitioners and to encourage students. Their motto is ‘Learn with Laughter’. Prior to establishing Rayka Education Pty Ltd, Fiona and Elizabeth were both lecturers at private and government TAFE colleges in NSW. They have been involved in the development of the latest Australian government training package for clinical aromatherapy education, have written articles and contributed to books and magazines, participated in radio interviews, have been interviewed for industry podcasts along with the yet-to-be released ‘UncommonScents’ – the movie and are members of IAAMA and ATMS. They have been recognized as and have received awards for being quality educators. Hana Tisserand (CZECH REPUBLIC) Tisserand Institute www.tisserandinstitute.org Hana is the captain of operations and communications of the Tisserand Institute. She hails from Prague, and brings a strong background in French and English translation and interpretation that’s proven essential for our global student base. Being raised in a family of doctors and nurses had primed her for a specialization in medical translation, which she counts alongside her experience working with politicians, authors, and educators. She has been working with Robert Tisserand for six years. Hana supervises the Tisserand Institute staff, manages their teaching platform, organizes courses, hosts webinars, commissions blog posts, oversees the creation of social content, writes their newsletters, and is their go-to IT technician. Somehow, she finds time to write her own blog posts, too! Gabriel Mojay (UK) International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists Chairman The Institute of Traditional Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy (ITHMA) https://ifparoma.org/ / http://www.aromatherapy-studies.com/ Gabriel Mojay LicAc,CertEd,FIFPA is a UK-registered practitioner of clinical aromatherapy, herbal medicine and acupuncture. He first studied natural medicine in 1978, specializing in shiatsu therapy and macrobiotics. Following four years of training in TCM, he became a member of the British Acupuncture Council in 1987. Gabriel first trained in botanical medicine and aromatherapy in the 1980s, and has studied with some of the world’s leading clinical aromatherapy experts. Since 1990 Gabriel has been Principal of the Institute of Traditional Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy (ITHMA). During the same year

he founded the Register of Qualified Aromatherapists (RQA), a UK professional association that in 2002 merged to form the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA), which has some 1800 members worldwide. He currently serves as IFPA Chairman. Gabriel has presented lectures at international conferences and seminars in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, the Czech Republic, France, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Mexico, the UK and the USA. He is co-author of ‘Shiatsu – the complete guide’, and author of ‘Aromatherapy for Healing the Spirit’. Chris Carrothers (CANADA) Canadian Federation of Aromatherapists (CFA) www.cfacanada.com Chris has been guiding clients and students along their pathway to natural wellness for over 20 years. As a former Preventive Dental Assistant, she went from head to toe, expanding her holistic health knowledge by becoming a certified Reflexologist in 1996. She established her company, Steps to Health, in 1998 to provide people with natural, holistic health and wellness. Education and training have been part of her practice right from the start. Chris attained a Diploma in Adult Education in 2002. Soon after, Steps to Health became, and remains, a recognized school with the Canadian Federation of Aromatherapists (CFA), NAHA and RRCO. Currently, Chris is a Certified Aromatherapy Health Professional (CAHP®-AM), Level 2: NAHA Certified Professional Aromatherapist® and Registered Reflexology Practitioner (RRPr. ®). Since graduating from the program and becoming a professional member of Canadian Federation of Aromatherapists (CFA) in 2000, Chris has served as Chair of the Education Committee, sat on the Board of Directors, and continues to be an active part of the CFA Education Committee, which develops curriculum and standards of education for programs which are now available globally.
