1st Grade and 2nd Grade (Middle Childhood between 6-8 years)

In thinking and learning children in this age group might:

▶ Show rapid development of mental skills.

▶ Learn better ways to describe experiences and talk about thoughts and feelings.

▶ Have less focus on one’s self and more concern for others.

8th Grade (Teenagers between 15-17 years)

In thinking and learning children in this age group might:

▶ Learn more defined work habits.

▶ Show more concern about future school and work plans.

▶ Be better able to give reasons for their own choices, including about what is right or wrong.

Fruits. Weather. (What’s the weather like today?) Animals of the Farm. Colours. Senses.

Listen and Look Activities.

Remembering always the things that they saw before with the question: who remembers what we saw last class?

Through images and songs with mimics (with subtitles), meanwhile working with the units.

The teacher reinforces every time that she can the contents that they are seen.

In the board, the teacher writes the pronunciation of the word in addition with visual material. Example: weather, /gueder/.

This is the way the Miss uses when starting classes with the Kindergarten, 1st Grade and 2nd Grade .

The school has a lot of tools in terms of technology, due to, they have a notebook in every classroom and also a projector. In some classrooms they have also an interactive board.

They also have an assistant of education in the first levels like kindergarten and first grade and also two or one person that helps in the classroom .
